Southern Charm star Venita Aspen always shows up with gorgeous style. There’s a certain attention to detail that really sets her apart in the fashion game. And it makes sense, being that she makes her living off of being a social media influencer.
Recent social media posts include Venita making a beautiful flower arrangement. She keeps her home as impeccable as her look, and Southern Charm viewers love getting to see inside her living space.
Given that Venita’s social media reach includes home decor and hosting, it makes sense that a fan would ask whether a collaboration with home goods might be in order. It’s a fantastic idea, and as luck would have it, the influencer has a co-star who founded an “eight-figure business” in decorative pillows.
Could the influencer branch out into home goods?
Of course, the Southern Charm star in question is Craig Conover and his Sewing Down South business. The two reality TV stars shared a conversation in Season 9. It was regarding Venita’s invitation to Fashion Week and the relationship she has with certain brands.
Venita explained in a confessional on the October 26, 2023 episode how she is paid to attend.
“As an influencer, some of the brands that I work with extend an invite for Fashion Week,” she said. “So I get to attend shows on their behalf. I’m dressed by them, paid to be there by them. It keeps the relationship going, and it allows me to always be at the forefront of these brands’ minds.”
So Venita is a solid player in the influencer business and it could be to Craig’s benefit to have her on board for a “collab.” One of her Instagram followers asked exactly that during an “Ask Me Anything” session.
“Have you thought about doing a Collab with SDS?” was the question posed.
Venita answered, “I have! I’ll ask Paige DeSorbo to ask Craig Conover to see what we could do but I think that could be sew cool!”
The Bravolebrity posted the response with a snap of her own collection of Sewing Down South pillows, which adorn the chic banquette in her Charleston home.
