Lisa Barlow is doing some very interesting things before Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 comes back. First she introduced Bangs Barlow with some very interesting new hair choices. Then we learned Lisa is doing the most by saving the environment while wearing real fur.
Bless John Barlow and all he puts up with – amen. Now Lisa is on the stroll talking about what comes next for RHOSLC in Season 5. Despite co-stars lying to each other about black eyes and a Season 4 that relied heavily on someone no longer there, Lisa says fans are in for something “very real.” Us Weekly has the scoop.
What is “real” on Real Housewives?
Oh boy you guys, Lisa is “really excited” about the upcoming season of RHOSLC. I hope she’s ready to do the work because all she did last season was cry and complain about wearing drag make-up. According to LB, the ladies are raising the bar – allegedly.
“I think that we raised the bar every single season. We have an amazing team. It’s not just the core four of us. It’s a whole big team and with new additions,” she shared. Yes, we’re seeing some of these “new additions” and by all accounts everything tracks.
She added, “And I feel like our production team is so committed to showing us in our best light and having our best self shown and our most vulnerable self shown.” Huh, is Lisa’s “best light” her son not being able to stand her to the point of hiding his future plans? Or was her “best light” the hot mic closet moment?
LB says the next season is “very, very real.” As real as her bangs? As real as Heather Gay’s excuse for the black eye? Thankfully Meredith Marks is returning. Whitney Rose and Angie Katsanevas will also come back.
“I think because we really do have conflict still and there’s still things being resolved, our franchise is one where we don’t have to fake anything,” Lisa added. Don’t have to fake anything but pretending to like each other, I guess.
The group is ready to take on the world after Monica Garcia’s departure and Lisa is here for it. “I think a lot of trust was broken, and I don’t think it’s trust that you can ever get back. So it feels good moving forward and we wish everyone well,” she continued. Yes, you know all of that good ‘ol RHOSLC “trust” they share.
