Ariana Madix is proving she’s always been that girl. Not only is she starring on BROADWAY in the long-running musical Chicago, but she’s also breaking records at the same time.
The Vanderpump Rules star has had quite the year since discovering the news that her boyfriend of nearly a decade, Tom Sandoval, was having an affair with her former best friend, Rachel Leviss. Since then, she’s reclaimed her time (and crown), starring in last season’s Dancing With the Stars, snagging a handful of brand deals, and a Broadway contract.
Speaking of Broadway, the reality star hit the stage on January 29 and, according to Broadway.com, just led the musical to its highest-grossing non-holiday performance in the production’s 27-year history. Talk about iconic!
You won’t break her soul!
It’s not like we didn’t see this one coming! Ariana has a degree in theatre and recently revealed her goal was “always to be a working actor.” Well, here she is, world!
Throughout last week’s run of the Broadway musical ending on February 4, the show grossed $939,177.40, breaking its previous record of $926,363.35 during a week in March 2023. Whew. That’s a lot of money, and Ariana, you did that! More than Tom and The Most Basic can say about their “concerts,” I’m SURE.
Ariana later commented on the news on Instagram, celebrating the big accomplishment with the rest of the world. “WHAT?!?!!!??!!! OMG!!! thank you so much to everyone who came and saw all of us give our best razzle dazzle!” she wrote, followed by some fun emojis.
Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules premiered January 30 and teased the continuation of Tom and Ariana’s fallout post-Scandoval. It’ll also showcase Ariana navigating her relationships with her co-stars, including Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, and Lisa Vanderpump, as they seek to find resolve with Tom.
Vanderpump Rules continues on Tuesdays at 8/7c, airing on Bravo.
