I used to have empathy for Brandi Glanville, but that feeling has long since passed. During her time on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she really came across as a scorned woman after it was revealed the Bravo star’s husband, Eddie Cibrian, had cheated on her with country singer LeAnn Rimes. At first, I genuinely believed that Brandi was dealing with a no-good husband, and my thought was almost solidified when Scheana Shay was revealed as another girl he had an affair with. But as time passed, Brandi became an unpleasant and troubling housewife.
Recently, Caroline Manzo has accused Brandi of sexual harassment. The Jersey housewife has filed a lawsuit against Bravo, alleging the show’s producers hired Brandi despite “overwhelming prior notice of Ms. Glanville’s prior deviant sexual proclivities and sexually harassing conduct.” Let’s take a look at some of her past indiscretions below.
Brandi Outed Adrienne’s Surrogate
It is hard to forget just how much Brandi inserted herself into her castmates’ issues during her early seasons. Adrienne Maloof, who was formerly married to Botched‘s Paul Nassif, didn’t ever plan to reveal how she had her twin boys. Over the seasons, Adrienne and Paul’s marriage fell by the wayside, culminating in their divorce. Sadly, along with her marriage, her once close friendship with Brandi also took a nosedive.
A lover of drama, Brandi released information regarding how Adrienne had chosen to use a surrogate, which was incredibly sensitive information for the queen of Las Vegas. The couple didn’t want to talk about it, and it caused a huge fallout.
Brandi vs. Joyce
In 2013, Brandi made a racially charged comment toward Joyce Giraud that just didn’t sit well with RHOBH viewers. Even though it is widely known that Brandi rarely thinks before she speaks, the mother of two really put her foot in her mouth this time. Joyce proclaimed, “I really don’t want to get in the pool. I can’t swim.” The other women seemed placated by her answer, but Brandi took it a step further, laughing, “You’re a black person. All my black friends can’t swim. Is that bad?”
Brandi did try to clarify her statement, adding, “It was a joke, and my black friends would have laughed crazy because they don’t go in the pool because they will get their weave fu*cked up.” Joyce was having none of it as she added, “Yes, I’m black. What’s your problem? Puerto Ricans are black, they’re Indian, and they’re Spanish, so I am a mix of three cultures, and I am very proud to represent all three.” Brandi gave up being nice after the retort as she offered to call Joyce “Jacqueline,” sharing, “She doesn’t look like a Joyce. Joyce is a big, fat pig.” My word, Brandi; Not a smart move!
Brandi’s Attacks on LeAnn
To say Brandi was mad is a huge understatement, but she went low when it came to LeAnn. The country singer was undoubtedly Blue with all the insults she had to swipe on a nearly daily basis. Brandi called the singer every name in the book, including accusing her of stalking and being unstable.
What transpired was a years-long feud that included defamation and allegations. However, in 2018, the threesome decided to call it quits and become a modern family. The entire family is said to get along and even gather on holidays.
Let’s Get Physical
Say what you want, but Brandi had the balls to slap Lisa Vanderpump, and not many people can claim that. Even though Brandi was far younger than her co-stars, she should have known right from wrong. By Season 5 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, viewers could see who Brandi was: a woman who had a knack for ending nice dinners. Her personality had become off-putting, and it only amped her up when she drank.
During a drunken spat with the rest of the women, Brandi chose violence. Everyone had sat down during dinner and gone around the table, sharing what they liked about one another. However, Brandi joked that LVP should smack her. When the SUR owner refused, she was slapped in return. It wasn’t the first time Brandi had laid hands on another housewife. She also pushed Kyle Richards and threw a glass of wine at Eileen Davidson. Brandi was always a loose cannon.
