Crystal Kung Minkoff is holding back no longer. The gloves are off thanks to Dorit Kemsley’s little “child bride” comment on the last Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 episode.
Crystal was married at 24, and while she might’ve been married to a 45-year-old man, she was hardly a “child bride.” When Crystal clapped back at Dorit’s comment on Instagram with the “Keys to a successful marriage,” fans rallied behind her.
Many considered Dorit’s jab to be a “microaggression,” and just added it to the list of perceived ‘Karen’ behavior she’s engaged in this season. However, it would appear one clapback alone wasn’t enough for Crystal. She took to IG again to savor the fans’ support.
Crystal is “keeping her foot” on Dorit’s neck, now going after her website
On January 15, Crystal promoted her business via Instagram, writing, “So many of you have asked about the coconut water company I co-founded with my brother and best friend 12 years ago.” She invited fans to check out the business’ IG page and the website, adding, “Because our website actually works!”
Crystal was almost certainly referring to Dorit’s old business, Beverly Beach, with a website that currently reads “This store is unavailable.” Fans were eating up the shade on Crystal’s part and she was happy to engage with commenters. One user wrote, “Wow you were 12 when you started this company and got married !! Doritos is shaking.” Crystal responded, “in diapers too!”
Another fan commented, “Lawd y’all should’ve left [Crystal] alone, now she’s keeping her foot steady on those necks.” To that, Crystal said, “I was fine quiet in the corner, but…” And when asked by a fan why she didn’t promote her business on RHOBH like the rest of the Housewives, she responded, “don’t need to [heart emoji].” Queen behavior.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
