Meri Brown has a new boyfriend! Good for her! I hope she gets the attention she never got from her ex-husband, Kody Brown.
The Sister Wives star proudly revealed her new guy on her 53rd birthday, January 16. “Birthday #53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and … I like how it looks!” she gushed on Instagram. “Meet Amos, the good-looking guy I’ve been dating since October!”
“He’s not 6 foot 6, nor is he a pilot,” she continued. “But he loves Christmas almost as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both of which are important elements to a relationship!” He sounds perfect.

The mom of one made a point of mentioning that even her dog Zona “absolutely loves” her new guy. She told her followers to “swipe to see the cutest picture,” which shows her four-footed baby with her paw on Amos’ hand. He must be a nice guy, cause dogs are good judges of character. Even though they’ve been dating since October, Meri admitted that she’d kept her new beau to herself as they’ve been “getting to know each other.” In the end, she decided that her birthday was a good time to share her happy news, so her fans could “celebrate this with me.”
“I feel like I’m getting this year off to a great start,” she finished the post, “and I can’t wait to share more with you as the year moves forward!”
Meri announced her separation from Kody a little over a year ago, in December 2022, following 32 years of marriage. Even though she was Kody’s first and only legal wife, she divorced him in 2014. She stepped aside so that Kody could legally marry fourth wife Robyn Brown and adopt her three children from her previous marriage.
Though she did it for altruistic reasons, the divorce was very hard on Meri. She felt alone and neglected. Kody seemed only interested in his shiny, new wife, Robyn, and Meri fell by the wayside, ignored and unloved. But after a decade of living in limbo, Meri decided enough is enough.
