Dorit Kemsley kicked off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 as an early fan favorite. Of course, things change quickly in the Bravosphere. Now, Jeff Lewis has some points to raise regarding Dorit.
Yes, when RHOBH Season 13 began, Dorit started things off strongly, firing back at Erika Jayne’s “showmanship,” with an iconic confessional interview. Unfortunately, one of Season 13’s most defining features has been its unpredictability, and opinions quickly changed on Dorit.
Dorit gradually became Kyle Richards’ lapdog and fans did not take kindly to the way they attacked Sutton Stracke over drinking problem allegations. It’s not just the typical viewer who’s taken note of Dorit’s turn, but Jeff Lewis has as well.
Have RHOBH viewers turned against Dorit?
Jeff appeared on a January 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live where he played a game called “That’s My (Unpopular) Opinion.” When the game’s topic turned to Ms. Kemsley, Jeff said, “I think Dorit is continually more and more unlikable … I was very much listening to her husband’s confessional and how she’s changed. I agree.”
He was likely referencing PK Kemsley’s discussion with Dorit and her therapist about her PTSD. PK explained that there were elements of Dorit’s condition that he understood, but other elements that seemed detached from PTSD entirely. He noted how Dorit became more “high maintenance” over the years and her “patience” was “used up.”
Jeff continued on the WWHL segment. “I know she’s like this fashionista,” putting air quotes over the title, “I will tell her: You can clip a Chanel broach on an H&M sweater, but it’s still an H&M sweater.” When the clip made its way to TikTok via @byewighellodrama, commenters responded with general agreement.
“I’ve never loved Jeff Lewis more,” one user wrote. Another said, “Don’t like Jeff Lewis but he is correct.” Still, another commenter said, “I like her this season,” and plenty of others agreed with that sentiment.
