Tamra Judge is about to start filming Season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County, but before cameras go up, she started a fight with co-star Shannon Beador. Because Tamra is only allowed to enjoy people pre-approved by Shannon, she’s in trouble for being friendly with Alexis Bellino.
But Shannon isn’t the only one who has a beef with Tammy Sue. Vicki Gunvalson is also mad because she didn’t get her orange back and she’s siding with Shannon out of spite. Now Tamra speaks on her current argument with the Dos Amigas and says it’s “tough” out there for a Una Camarada. Entertainment Tonight has the scoop.
A short reconciliation …
It’s all very interesting though, the convenient timing of this dispute. Shan and Tammy Sue fighting on social media and now we have Vicki calling Tamra a “traitor.” Just in time to plug Tamra’s appearance on … The Traitors.
According to Tamra, “There’s some things I don’t want to talk about, because … we go into production [on season 18] next week and, obviously, it’s gonna be talked about.”
“I backed out of the Tres Amigas for some reasons that you probably will hear about on Orange County Housewives,” she continued. “You know, it’s tough. It’s so twisted, and there’s so many layers to it, it’s hard for me to explain everything — but I didn’t do anything to either one of them.”
Technically, she’s right. Tammy Sue didn’t do anything to Shannon except be nice to Alexis on social media. Why Vicki is even involved in this is nothing short of strategy or desperation. But Vicki remains eternally bitter because Bravo doesn’t want her anymore.
Apparently, Tamra backing out of some Tres Amigas shows really twisted the knife. “After we did the Phoenix show, the agent called me and said, ‘Would you like to do another show?’ and I said, ‘You know what? I really, I can’t right now. I have too much, too many things on my plate, I can’t go on this tour with them,” she explained.
“They had already known that, they know my schedule’s super busy,” Tamra noted. Also, she is busy. She’s got the Two Ts in a Pod podcast and is about to start up another one with Kate Chastain.
No time for extra drama …
“I just didn’t have a lot of time to go traveling, and I guess Vicki didn’t like that and now she’s calling me a traitor,” Tamra said. She also touched on the Tres Amigas show format after Shannon’s DUI.
“It’s difficult. I think that people are gonna understand my concerns and, you know, as far as the Tres Amigas show, I felt like we should not have done it right after her DUI. I felt like she needed to concentrate on herself. … Conversations were had between us about it, and how I felt… and I don’t want to give too much away.”
Vicki is also mad Tamra and Teddi are doing live shows for their podcast. “But let me just tell you, they knew I was doing that,” she interjected. “I told them months ago that I was doing it. It’s a one-time thing that was put on by [our podcast company] iHeart. So it wasn’t to take [the Tres Amigas show’s] place…”
Shannon and Vicki are also potentially replacing Tamra with someone who used to hate both of them, Kelly Dodd. “Good for them,” Tamra said. “I hope they sell a lot of tickets with that.”
Season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County will begin production this week.
