Lala Kent Reveals She Confronted Tom Sandoval Over Tiger Photo

Once again, Tom Sandoval is out in the world, making more bad decisions. Instead of cheating on his longtime girlfriend, this time Tom decided to make a captive tiger’s life even more horrible. He shared a video and photos on his Instagram Story of himself feeding captive tigers and posing with one. Does Tom not realize how this will anger VPR fans? Not cool, Tom.

PETA sent Tom a love letter, explaining why his decision was awful. And his Pump Rules co-star Lala Kent shared her reaction on Instagram.

“I am appalled by the photo my cast member took with a tiger in captivity. This topic has been close to my heart for many years,” Lala wrote. “What is disguised as “fun” and “cool,” is in fact, animal abuse. It’s heartbreaking.” She continued, “Do not support places like this.”

During an Amazon Live, Lala shared with her followers that she had contacted Tom about his experience from Thailand’s Tiger Land. “I certainly did. I sent Tom a text message and I posted on Instagram and then I said something to him last night that he did not take kindly to,” Lala stated.

Unfortunately, Lala didn’t give any specifics of their conversation. But she hopes that her fans will learn from Tom’s dreadful mistake. At least someone will because Tom certainly won’t.

“I think the rule of thumb would be if you see something like that — tigers in captivity or mammals, dolphins, whales, whatever — and they tell you it’s a sanctuary but the animal is being used for maybe to sit next to you or lay on you … not a sanctuary,” Lala stated. “A sanctuary is a place where the animal is in their natural habitat or as close to their natural habitat as possible. You cannot interact with the animals.”

Before signing off, Lala revealed another cast member that she has had problems with. Step right up, Katie Maloney! Lala said, “Katie and I had a lot of drama. It was not a great season for the two of us as friends … but we’re in a good place and you’ll see.”

You can catch Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules on January 30 at 8/7c on Bravo.
