Oh, I wonder what Tom Sandoval will wear to court! Ariana Madix is done and over it. She wants to move on from their $2 million house and cut any ties that bind her to a man who dresses like he grabbed whatever was on the floor in the midst of exiting a burning building.
Vanderpump Rules fans know Ari and Sandoval have had to deal with the anchor of property after Scandoval. They own the home jointly and Tom has seemingly been holding out on getting rid of it and moving on. Now Ariana is saying screw it and suing him – aw, I love this for Tom. TMZ has the scoop.
Will he or won’t he fight Ariana’s request?
2024 will find Tom dealing with Season 11 of Pump Rules and some brand-new papers from Ariana’s lawyer. Ariana is suing her former partner because they couldn’t reach a deal on how to split up their San Fernando Valley home.
Ari filed papers in LA Superior Court and the documents make no bones about how they’ve reached an impasse. Ariana has requested a “partition by sale.” She would like the judge to ORDER them to sell the property and divide everything else. Also, we’re two months away from being a year out of when Scandoval broke, Tom needs to take care of his situation.
Now what Tom’s ex wants to avoid is a “division in kind.” It allows both of them to retain “ownership and interest” in the house, but technically one could sell it to a third party. I can see it now. Sandoval sells to Tom Schwartz and the two live happily ever after in 4,000 square feet of stale beer and white nail polish.
The house was purchased in 2019 and Ariana just wants to sell it and move on. Dynamics regarding Ariana, Tom, and the home that lingers will play out in the next season of Vanderpump Rules.
