Real Housewives of Orange County alum Alexis Bellino could be returning to the show for Season 18. I for one would love to see her make a comeback, just for the drama she would cause.
Tamra Judge and Emily Simpson are both losing sleep over Jesus Jugs’ potential return. “I just lay in bed thinking of all these things that could possibly happen next season,” Tamra says. “I’m already having anxiety.”
Filling in for Teddi Mellencamp on her and Tamra’s Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Emily also admits to having anxiety due to her friendship with Alexis. Tamra is also friends with the RHOC alum, which presents a huge conflict in her relationship with bestie Shannon Beador.
Tamra and Emily predict fireworks if Alexis Bellino returns to RHOC for Season 18
In case you’ve been under a rock, Alexis is currently dating Shannon’s ex John Janssen. It’s messy and could get worse if Shannon and Alexis (and possibly John) have to film together.
Besides being a major violation of Girl Code, Alexis scooping up Shannon’s leftovers is especially hurtful due to a lawsuit Alexis’ then-husband Jim Bellino filed years ago. He sued both Tamra and Shannon for disparaging comments they made about his business at the time. Even though the suit was eventually dismissed, it was stressful and expensive, and Shannon hasn’t forgiven either Alexis or Jim.
“If [Alexis] does film and she’s on the show,” says Emily, “we have to bring her in. And Shannon’s gonna be there.” That should make for some interesting fireworks. The drunken brawls we’ve seen in previous seasons will be nothing compared to what will happen when Shannon and Alexis have to sit at a table together.
When Emily questions how long Alexis and John have been dating, Tamra comments, “All I know is at BravoCon [early November 2023] she was not dating him.” But by December she apparently was.
“I went to Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party,” Emily relates, “Alexis was there, and we hung out. We ended up coming back to Orange County together … I made a statement of, like, ‘Oh, that’s so dumb that people think you’re dating, just ’cause you’re in a picture together.’ And she was like, ‘But we are.'” Oopsie.
One ring to rule them all
And we’ve all seen the pictures of that Van Cleef & Arpels “promise ring” John supposedly gave Alexis for Christmas after only a few weeks of dating. Rumor has it that either Alexis paid for the ring herself or she was paid by the jewelry company for the promotion. Shannon’s ex-sister-in-law (David Beador’s sister) used to be the West Coast Director of the company, so no matter how you slice it, it’s a big F-you to Shannon.
If producers bring Alexis back for Season 18, it will definitely be war. Shannon is a powder keg, and Alexis has the match.
