Former Vanderpump Rules star Rachel Leviss may have opted not to return to the show. But she just can’t quit it. Her new podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, will premiere on January 8, 2024. We all know how Rachel’s affair with Tom Sandoval fractured the cast.
A description of Rachel’s podcast reads, “This is MY story. I’m going to tell you what’s true, what’s false, and the secrets I’ve been waiting to reveal.” Is there anything left to reveal about Scandoval? I am exhausted from this time-sucking vortex.
Meanwhile, the hotly-anticipated Season 11 of VPR will also premiere in January. Fans have heard about some of the cast members softening their stance on Sandoval. Namely, Scheana Shay and possibly Lala Kent. Which is surprising since Lala roasted Sandoval ever since the affair came to light.
Lala claimed that she tried to contact Rachel
During a recent Amazon Live, Lala took a moment to shoot down some of Rachel’s claims from the teaser for her podcast. Rachel alleged that none of her Pump Rules co-stars ever tried to make contact once the scandal exploded.
“I did try. I got no response,” Lala claimed. “You know I don’t even know what I was hoping for when I reached out to her.” If she was hoping to infuriate her friends, Lala probably succeeded.
She continued, “Um you guys will see it play out next season. And you know what, do I regret reaching out to her? Was I glad I reached out to her?” Lala added, “You’ll just have to find out.”
Lala also addressed some of Rachel’s other statements in her podcast trailer. Namely that Sandoval was “manipulative.” She explained, “I think a lot of things. Again, I was not directly involved. I’m only going off of things that I’ve heard and then certain things that I saw that led me to think that they were creeping around,” Lala stated.
“But as for the inside of the relationship, I have no idea. I did not know that a snippet of the trailer came out,” she added. It sounds like Lala might have annoyed Ariana Madix or her bestie, Katie Maloney, by reaching out to Rachel.
Fans will have to wait until Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules premieres on January 30, 2024, at 8/7c on Bravo to find out.
