Southern Charm star Craig Conover has been flip-flopping lately about his long-distance romance with Paige DeSorbo. Paige’s home base is New York City, while Craig is staying put in Charleston. His efforts to convince Paige to move and make Charleston her home have been brushed aside.
Recently, Craig wondered if he should dump Paige for someone else since his biological clock was ticking. Sigh. Can someone send Craig back to class for “the talk?” His human anatomy book is missing some pages. “Do I want to be with Paige and be patient to eventually have that family with her? Or do I want the family so bad that I’m going to leave the love of my life?” Craig commented.
Meanwhile, during BravoCon, Paige asked Craig to get married in Vegas. The couple has been dating since 2021. But Mr. Biological Clock didn’t want to get married in a chapel there. I guess his clock was silent in Vegas.
Is Craig ready to split from Paige?
During the most recent episode of Southern Charm, Paige trekked to Charleston to spend some time with her man. Oh, and attend Madison LeCroy’s dinner party.
Before the party, Craig talked to Paige about their future. “It’s not the end of the world if we don’t end up together. What I mean is like, I now I actually believe that I’ve become a stable person with or without you,” Craig explained. “I know that you got me there, but I really feel stable in myself, to the point where like, I could let you go. That would be really sad, but I wouldn’t freak out,” he added. An excellent way to freak out your girlfriend, Craig.
When he asked Paige if she wanted it to work out with him, she replied, “Yes. I wouldn’t be here. I would be in New York.” The topic was up for discussion again at Madison’s dinner party.
“I’m just not ready to move down here and live in a cul-de-sac and have a baby. I’m just not,” the Summer House star said. “I feel like I had to be so done with a certain part of my life.”
Madison and her husband, Brett Randle, reassured Paige that they were able to pull off a long-distance engagement. When Craig headed off to the restroom, Paige slipped on Madison’s ring to see what styles she liked.
Maybe an engagement will be happening sooner rather than later. That is if Craig stops talking about his biological clock and how he doesn’t need Paige.
