If you watched the early seasons of The Real Housewives of Miami, you probably remember that Adriana de Moura’s marriage to Frederic Marq was a controversial one.
After an over-the-top wedding that was Adriana’s main storyline, Lea Black, Adriana’s bestie at the time, uncovered Adriana’s marriage license. And the fact that Adriana and Frederic had been married for some time.
The revelation caused a major fallout between the two and they never recovered. Fast forward to this season, and RHOM castmate Marysol Patton also has some confusion about Adriana’s divorce from Frederic.
“No one ever saw Frederic again”
In an interview with Hollywood Life, Marysol claimed that Adriana’s divorce timeline, much like her marriage timeline, doesn’t make sense. “Nobody knows when she got divorced. I saw in the last episode she said she got divorced during COVID. In 2015 and 2016 she was traveling the world single. No one ever saw Frederic again,” Marysol revealed.
Marysol’s comments are in response to Adriana’s claims that both Marysol and Alexia Nepola dumped her after her divorce. The trio was close prior to that and the downfall of their friendship has played out since RHOM has come back to our screens.
Marysol continued of her suspicions, “I remember going to London with my then-boyfriend. I told her to come meet us out. We met out in London. She was alone and single. She hadn’t been with Frederic for years, so I don’t know what she’s talking about when she said she had this horrible divorce.”
The longtime housewife added, “She was living her own life for many years before that. I never saw him again after Season 3.”
Marysol was never close with Adriana
According to Marysol, “nothing adds up” when it comes to what Adriana has said about her divorce from Frederic. But Marysol insists that Adriana’s claims against her aren’t true. Said Marysol, “I’m a good friend. I’ve been here having my friendship with Alexia, and Lisa [Hochstein] comes and goes. We never heard from her [Adriana]. And that’s her story, that we abandoned her. So ridiculous.”
Additionally, Marysol noted that she wasn’t “super close” with Adriana while RHOM was off the air for 8 years. “She was always very mysterious, traveled a lot. She just decided she didn’t want to be friends with me anymore. I didn’t understand why. I’m just usually on the other end of being blindsided by some crazy comment or anger that she has towards me,” Marysol concluded.
