It looks like Lala Kent and Scheana Shay might have a lot to answer for when Vanderpump Rules returns for Season 11. At one time they were both pledging allegiance to Ariana Madix but now they seemed to have changed their tune.
While Scheana has started hanging out with Tom Sandoval (bUt iT’s NoT wHaT wE tHiNk), Lala is seemingly jealous of the attention Ariana received amid the fallout of having her life destroyed. In the recently released preview, Lala may feel some type of way about Ariana’s new man, Daniel Wai too.
Can’t Ariana recover from her life imploding without people getting weird?
In a sneak peek clip shared by Instagram account @brunchandbravo, it appears things are not well in the friend group after Scandoval has died down. By all accounts, it almost seems like some of Ariana’s friends aren’t feeling so friendly once the spotlight started fading on their involvement with the Sandoval drama.
I mean, why didn’t Lala get endorsements, tv shows, and have buckets of money thrown at her? Could it be because she’s had a previous reputation as an unlikable bully? Because she was involved with a married man and then lied about it? I don’t know why any success Ariana had because her life partner cheated should be up for debate. Unless folks are jealous out of their minds and just don’t want to say so.
Not only did Ariana gain some financial windfalls, she met another man. A seemingly decent man though the bar is set pretty low after Sandoval. Lala evidently has questions about Daniel Wai, along with everything else.
Lala says “it’s weird”
In the video, she says, “Ariana gets a new man, and I’m like, ‘What’s his motive? This is weird.’” It’s not weird because life goes on, but it’s also none of Lala’s damn business. After she bit the heads off people who previously questioned her former knight in shining armor Randall Emmett, she should know better than to be audibly curious.
Lala’s mother was in the scene and shared that Lala’s “blinders [are] off” after what happened with Randall. But even that’s nonsensical. Then Lala starts to cry because now she’s a victim of Randall and his cheating but she didn’t get Dancing with the Stars out of it. Her mom added, “It’s OK, you’re gonna work through it. All in steps. I love you.”
Daniel and Ariana met at a friend’s wedding and hit Coachella together last April. They have a long-distance situation going, but it seems to be working out for them so far. Carry on, Lala.
Vanderpump Rules will return with Season 11 on January 30, 2024.
