Child actress Kim Richards was a full-time cast member on the first five seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She and her younger sister Kyle Richards were the reason I started watching this show back in 2010. I knew them from Nanny and the Professor, Little House on the Prairie, and Escape from Witch Mountain.
Though Kim left RHOBH after Season 5 to focus on her health, she’s made cameo appearances now and then. But does she see herself ever returning to the show as a series regular?
In an interview with E! News, Kim admitted that it’s not likely she’ll ever return to the show. “I will never say never but most likely not,” Kim confessed. “I would rather do something with the three of us away from that kind of negativity … Where do you find people [who] go to a party and throw a drink at your face? Or they try to choke you?”
Big sis Kathy would be ‘hunky dory’ with a return, but Kim? Not so much…
Oldest sister Kathy Hilton spent two seasons on RHOBH as a “friend of” and quickly became a fan favorite with her hotel slippers and her traveling electric fan. But her days on the show came to an abrupt end in 2022 when Lisa Rinna accused her of having an off-camera drunken tantrum in Aspen.
But now that time has passed and the sisters have allegedly made peace again, would Kathy ever return? During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on November 29, host Andy Cohen asked about the chances she’d ever come back to the show.
Kathy coyly responded, “Well, I don’t make those decisions, so…”
When Andy followed up, asking if she’d be open to a return, Kathy admitted, “Of course.”
“I had a really good time,” the socialite said of her time on the show. “I have to tell you I had some of the best times I’ve ever [had] without Rick. It was an adventure.”
Though Andy (and the rest of us) would like to see Kathy return, she’s currently busy filming her daughter Paris Hilton’s show, Paris in Love.
But sister Kim isn’t too busy. Though she has no interest in getting her diamond back, she’s reportedly filmed a few scenes for Season 13 and is enjoying spending time again with her baby sister.
“I wasn’t sure if I wanted to come back at all,” Kim said earlier. “[But] with everything that’s kind of gone on with my sisters … I wanted to come in and see [Kyle] and spend a little time with her.”
