Monica Garcia’s hand has already been in a lot of the drama brewing on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and it’s only her first season. She’s even gone toe-to-toe with her mom, who’s also dramatic and chaotic in her own right. Some Monica-centric drama has recently been brewing off-camera, too.
We learned earlier this week that Monica and her castmate, Heather Gay, are suing each other over services Monica received at Heather’s business, Beauty Lab + Laser. Heather is suing Monica for non-payment, and Monica is suing Heather for “botched” nose and lip filler. Now, Heather just shared some more pointed words about Monica after calling her a liar just a few days ago.
Heather touted her business while calling Monica “desperate”
Heather took to her Instagram yesterday and posted a promotional video for BL+L, but the caption was what was captivating. She complemented her employees, shot down the validity of Monica’s lawsuit, and called Monica “desperate.”
Heather also went there with Monica’s financial situation, which we’ve seen Monica talk about a little on the show. She admitted she doesn’t have as much money as the other ladies and was feeling the need to keep up with the Joneses.
Heather’s caption read, “Beauty Lab + Laser is a phenomenal business, in the top 1% of providers, with over 3,000 positive reviews. Our injectors are nationally ranked and leaders within the industry and our legion of loyal customers speaks for itself.
“This lawsuit in the press has no merit and is unfortunately a pattern of behavior from a desperate woman who when unable to pay her bills lashes out to avoid accountability. @beauty.lab.laser #teambll #thelablovesyou.”
Others have doubts about Monica’s claims
Heather isn’t the only one who’s calling out Monica’s honesty and intentions. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave also touched on it in an episode of Two Ts in A Pod last month, saying she’s been told that Monica’s an “ambulance chaser” and has a habit of filing frivolous lawsuits as a money grab.
Teddi said, “According to our source, Monica is an ambulance chaser which means she is always looking at frivolous lawsuits.” Though Teddi also added that she couldn’t confirm the validity of this.
It seems like so many RHOSLC things start at Beauty Lab + Laser. Remember Jen Shah fleeing the parking lot when the Feds were looking for her? It’s time to mount a camera out front of BL+L. This probably won’t be the last thing to happen there!
