Last week on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the ladies arrived in Las Vegas. They were celebrating Crystal Kung Minkoff’s 40th birthday. As they prepared to attend the show Magic Mike Live for a VIP experience, it looked like trouble was brewing with Sutton Stracke.
So, let’s get into the recap for Episode 3, “It’s Not About the Pants.” That means it is all about the pants.
An intervention for Sutton
Garcelle Beauvais was ready to skip lunch and meet some men. But first, she had an intervention for Sutton. Poor Sutton is a one-date wonder.
Sutton recently had a great date. Dinner, a board game, and great conversation. Nothing happened afterward. The group decided that Sutton has zero game. She texted a man that his “triceps looked good.” Oof.
The sisterhood of the Sin City pants
Sutton can’t find her pants, and summoned her property manager, Avi, to locate them. She is one demanding boss.
Meanwhile, Crystal, Garcelle, and Erika Jayne had glam squads. Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley were doing each other’s hair.
If the ladies wanted to get onstage, they had to wear pants. Garcelle, Dorit, and Kyle all wore dresses. Erika was in black latex, giving us Berlin vibes. Crystal wore pants.
In her confessional, Sutton said, “We’re in Vegas, I want to get up on stage and dance with strippers. I mean, come on, why not? No one will know,” she added.
At Magic Mike, the ladies settled in. Erika arranged for the birthday girl to get some time onstage. Sutton loved the show and seemed enthusiastic – at first.
Sutton’s Vegas meltdown
Erika was taken onstage along with Crystal. “I wore pants for f*cking nothing,” Sutton grumbled. While Erika was lying onstage, with her legs wide open, one of the strippers had his head, well, in her crotch.
A producer asked Erika in her confessional, “Did Tom [Girardi] ever do moves like this?” Shady!
“No!” Erika replied. “Tom had other moves that clearly landed me in hot water. But not moves like this.” Yay?
While Garcelle enjoyed a lap dance, Sutton kept her eyes straight ahead. Garcelle felt bad because Sutton wore pants but didn’t get onstage. The ladies realized Sutton’s feelings were hurt.
Dorit went over and asked Sutton if she was okay. “That’s not okay. No! What the f*ck? What the f*ck was that?” Sutton said as she stormed off. “I am on the board of the American Ballet Foundation. I don’t do that f*cking sh*t!” she added. Oh, my! Someone’s pants were all in a twist.
Since Sutton made it all about herself, she pissed off Dorit. Crystal told Erika that Sutton was upset. Clearly, Erika wasn’t bothered. She was busy watching the man candy.
It really was about the pants
Garcelle followed her out to the bathroom. Sutton said, “I’m f*cking pissed. That f*cking sucked.” Sutton was suffering from a mean case of jealousy since she wasn’t selected to go onstage.
She explained to Garcelle that she had fun until she saw Crystal and Erika with their legs open, and a man’s face “in their crotch.” She lives by a different standard.
Garcelle thought it was odd that Sutton was so upset. Kyle, fresh from having a stripper licking whipped cream off her leg, asked if Sutton was upset because she wore pants and wasn’t picked to go onstage.
Sutton denied it had anything to do with her pants. Kyle called her out for making a big scene, and Sutton told her to “shut up.”
Kyle didn’t believe her. They decided to wait in the Sprinter for the rest of their RHOBH co-stars. Kyle texted Crystal, “Sutton is upset. We need to go.”
Crystal told Dorit and Erika. Erika was waiting to see her friends, and Dorit refused to leave.
Kyle persisted in telling Sutton that it was all about the pants. “God, motherf*cker, I swear,” Sutton said. The mouth on Sutton!
And when Kyle reminded Sutton that she mentioned protecting “her brand,” Sutton vigorously denied it. Of, course she did say it. Blame it on the alcohol, Sutton.
“You’re such a bitch. You really are,” Sutton told Kyle.
“Now you’re being a bitch,” Kyle replied. Garcelle managed to get her co-stars in the van. All the while wondering how her fun night with the handsome men was derailed into this dumpster fire.
Sutton apologized
Sutton apologized to Kyle and tried to explain herself. Good luck, Sutton.
“She’s sitting in there like Judge Judy,” Erika said when she and Dorit reached the van. Sutton maintained that she was offended by the spread-eagle action.
Erika responded that Sutton knew what the show was about. Dorit was offended that Sutton stormed out and didn’t return. Crystal pointed out that it shouldn’t matter if it didn’t bother Erika or herself. Truth!
After Sutton admitted to never watching porn with her husband, Garcelle wondered if Sutton ever had sex before.
At dinner, Sutton apologized to Erika. And Erika, who gave up fighting for Lent, was calm and relaxed. Calm and relaxed? Where is the real Erika Jayne?
The next day, Garcelle planned to have lunch with her son, Oliver Saunders. He is now almost divorced. As you may recall, he kissed Rachel Leviss on Vanderpump Rules.
Garcelle doesn’t feel at ease speaking with her co-stars about her family. All because of the way that Erika spoke to her son, Jax, last season. She was still upset that Kyle and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, and Dorit and her husband, PK Kemsley, laughed about the incident.
Kyle’s new regimen
At 6 a.m., Kyle was in the gym. The old Kyle would be eating room service and recovering after drinking the night before.
Erika told Dorit that Kyle was at the gym, while on vacation in Vegas. And, she has stopped drinking.
“She’s living in extremes right now,” Dorit stated. They seem genuinely confused about why these workouts are so key for Kyle.
Garcelle spoke her truth
Garcelle told the ladies she doesn’t know if she trusts them regarding her family. After the situation with Jax, she still feels uncomfortable.
The ladies were upset. Kyle and Erika apologized. Still, Garcelle felt “vulnerable.”
Dorit was angry. She pointed out that it had been a year, and that everything seemed fine. People can take as long as they want to forgive and move on.
Sutton felt that Dorit should have stopped PK from laughing about Erika swearing at Jax. According to Garcelle, Dorit doesn’t listen, twists everything, and makes herself the victim. Finally, an upset Garcelle walked out.
Next week, Kyle and Dorit discuss their marital problems. And Kyle confronts Sutton about her over-the-top behavior.
