Vanderpump Rules stars Lala Kent and James Kennedy never formally dated. And during Season 10 of Pump Rules, Lala revealed that she and James hooked up. The only problem? She was dating Randall Emmett, and he was dating Rachel Leviss at the time.
And James’ new girlfriend, Ally Lewber, didn’t love hearing that information. But James and Ally talked it over, and she was able to move past his indiscretion. That said, Lala and James have always had a flirty connection.
Ally was concerned about James and Lala’s relationship
According to The Daily Dish, Ally and James joined the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas for the “Bravoleb Couples Part 2” panel at BravoCon 2023.
Daryn Carp, the moderator, gave the two couples some cute questions. Do we want to know who is the best dancer, more stubborn, and more romantic? Not really. Get to the good stuff!
Then an audience member gave Ally a weighty question. “How do you feel about James and Lala’s friendship given that she’s single and [considering] their history and interaction?” the fan asked.
“Honestly, I’m surprised this is the first time I’ve gotten this question. At first … I think I was nervous going into it. But then when I met her she really was amazing,” Ally stated. “And she’s almost been like a big sister to me, and I really love her and appreciate her and respect her a lot.”
She continued, “I feel like at first I was a little hesitant, but now I love her. And I tell her all the time, I’m like, she’s literally James in a girl form. And I love James, so love her too,” Ally stated.
While James and Ally have been together for over 19 months, they aren’t interested in dashing to the altar. James sees marriage in their future. Let’s just hope he has worked on himself and treats Ally much better than he treated Rachel and Kristen Doute.
