After Scandoval, it probably would’ve been in Tom Sandoval’s best interest to keep his head down and lie low for a while. Of course, the most controversial Vanderpump Rules star has proven time and time again that he can’t keep his mouth shut.
Still, in all the moments where Tom and Ariana Madix were seen filming together for Season 11, Tom seemed more reserved than usual. He certainly wasn’t willing to talk to or hang around Ariana.
But something must’ve snapped in the musician at BravoCon 2023. Tensions were high for Mr. Sandoval as the crowd booed him mercilessly during the Vanderpump Rules panel. Perhaps that’s why he let his mouth run off again and hurled an insult at Ariana.
Will Tom ever apologize to Ariana?
On November 4, the day after the VPR panel, Ariana spoke with E! News about all the BravoCon and VPR happenings. Ariana said that Tom said some nasty things after walking the red carpet: “He came on this press line and called me ‘stank face’ right after,” she said. “so I don’t think he was planning to [give me an apology].”
Katie Maloney, who was at Ariana’s side for most of the press interviews, said, “That man wouldn’t know an apology if it slapped him across the face. He just isn’t capable.” It was during the VPR panel when Ariana revealed that Tom still had not apologized for everything that went down during Season 10.
To Tom’s minuscule credit, he did say during the panel that he wished he’d handled things better after Scandoval. “I would have done things differently, he said while on the panel. However, he added, “I can’t change what happened. I’d rather stand here and face it. I don’t know what you do.”
