Real Housewives of New Jersey fans were used to seeing Frank Catania and his ex-wife, Dolores Catania, functioning as RHONJ besties. Eventually, both moved on in their romantic lives. Dolores started dating Paul Connell. And Frank began dating his longtime friend, Brittany Mattessich. Frank had trained Brittany for a fitness competition, and that is how they met. Now, Frank Catania’s engaged!
In 2022, Frank and Brittany shared how the entire Catania family had embraced her. Including Frank and Dolores’ kids, Frankie Catania and Gabby Catania. At the time, the couple had been in a serious relationship for “six to eight months.” Frank once questioned his ability to be faithful after cheating on Dolores. But he took the next step.
Frank Catania engaged: He popped the question, and Brittany said, “Yes!”
Brittany posted a photo on Instagram of the couple in front of a wall of red roses, with the phrase “Will you marry me?” written across it. “We’re Engaged!!!! I’m so excited to start this next chapter with you along with all the other good things we have going on,” Brittany captioned the photos.
“Thankyou for being you & making me the happiest girl in the world. I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else other then @frank.catania.sr- love you so much, my fiancé.” One of the photos showed a close-up of Brittany’s new sparkler.
Friends flooded the comments to celebrate Brittany and Frank’s big news. “Congratulations so happy for the two of u,” Dolores wrote. Paulie said, “@missbrittyann @frank.catania.sr- congratulations you to love birds.”
RHONJ cast member Margaret Josephs posted, “Congratulations on the Happily ever after !! So thrilled for you both !!” Then Melissa Gorga wrote, “Omg Omg!!!!” with heart-eye emojis.
More of Frank’s co-stars weighed in. “Congrats sweetie!!!” Jennifer Aydin said. “Omg YAYYY!!! Congrats lovebirds!!” Jackie Goldschneider wrote. “Congrats guys!!! @frank.catania.sr,” Nate Cabral posted.
Let’s all cross our fingers that Frank and Brittany’s wedding will be drama-free, unlike Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas’ anxiety-inducing nuptials.
