The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 premiere came in hot with some drama right off the bat between Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley. Of course, fans who’d been keeping up with the cast knew this was coming.
Dorit and Erika found bad blood between them ever since BravoCon last year. Erika was asked which Bravo couple she thought would be next to break up. Initially, Erika didn’t want to answer the question — a claim she reiterated multiple times. Ultimately, though, she took the stage and answered Dorit and her husband PK Kemsley.
As expected, Dorit confronted Erika about her answer in front of the cameras. Erika said she felt bad considering she didn’t know Dorit and PK were truly having issues. Still, Erika didn’t apologize, instead attempting to rationalize her answer by saying she was “a showman.” Dorit didn’t appreciate that.
Dorit’s impression of Erika is award-worthy
In a confessional, Dorit mimicked and slammed Erika, saying, “Standing up, going to the center stage, delivering the line, and then flipping her hair, coming back and feeling very good about herself — that’s not a showman. That’s a bitch.” When the clip made its way to Twitter thanks to @facesbybravo, fans responded with applause.
One fan praised Dorit by writing, “An Emmy contender, I fear,” with the original poster responding, “She will be the first Housewife to get [an] EGOT.” Another user wrote, “Her best line in several years!” Many replies repeated the sentiment that Dorit was reclaiming an energy she’d lost a long time ago.
Plenty of users also spotlighted her mimicry of Erika specifically. “Her Erika impression SENT ME,” one user wrote. Another said, “Her voice when she said ‘delivering the line’ took me clean out!??? Dorit was definitely in her bag for this confessional. Give her all the awards!” If Dorit keeps up this energy, she might be the sleeper hit of RHOBH Season 13.
