We all know Summer House OG Kyle Cooke likes to have fun. But life cannot always be fun because serious stuff happens. Kyle and wife Amanda Batula have definitely maneuvered through some issues. After a tumultuous relationship that played out on-camera, Kyle and Amanda eventually tied the knot in September 2021.
When you choose to document your life for a paycheck, there will inevitably come a time where you need to decide how much to share. It looks like Kyle and Amanda, but mostly Kyle, are prepared to give an update on the couple’s road to parenthood.
According to Us Weekly, Kyle says Amanda is having some issues with hormones and fertility. He said, “I don’t wanna say too much on her behalf because this is her own story.” I hope with every fiber of my being he received prior approval from his wife before making this statement.
Amanda and Kyle also appear on the Summer House spinoff, Winter House. In Season 2 of the show, Amanda confessed she had not had a period in months, which made her feel uneasy. While Kyle and Amanda weren’t ready to board the baby train, Amanda did want to stop birth control.
“When she went off, she lost a bunch of weight, but her body didn’t go back to regulating,” Kyle shared. He said Amanda began to have concerns once she was at six months with no cycle. “It was kind of concerning. I think she kind of started to get in her own head as one might when you start wondering like, ‘What are the ramifications here?’”
It was “tough” for Kyle to see Amanda’s anxieties about possible bumps on their way to conceiving. Season 7 of Summer House will show some of Amanda’s stress as these topics come up. Kyle continued, “Also, all the hormonal changes … she was, like, breaking out. And I gave her so much respect because I would’ve been so self-conscious.” Okay, hold up.
Did this man just low-key shade his own wife? On behalf of females everywhere, we humbly apologize to Kyle for not having flawless and blemish-free skin because our bodies are designed to create a holding space for actual human beings. Unfortunately being a vessel for life also comes with the occasional zit. Sorry Kyle.
Literally Kyle kept going. “Her hormones were just going crazy. I just had so much respect because I don’t think I would’ve had the balls [to be on camera]. I was like, ‘Wow, you are a trooper.’” Wow, I think Kyle is a trooper for having the balls to be on camera with that new hair-do he finds so fetching. Thankfully, the situation improved because Amanda’s skin cleared up they’re “in a much better place” nowadays “particularly with her personal health.” Kyle added right now they have their hands full with their dog children.
In December 2022 Amanda said she didn’t expect to give intimate details about her female business on Winter House, but it was obviously “weighing on” her during production. Amanda is currently happy and hopes when she and Kyle are ready to procreate, her body will “hopefully be ready as well.” If it’s not, I’m sure Kyle will let everyone know.
