Do y’all remember Kim Zolciak’s daughter, Ariana Biermann, was arrested earlier this year on suspicion of driving under the influence? Well, it looks like the Don’t Be Tardy family, especially Ariana, is now letting up just a little bit and maybe poking a little fun, too? The now 21-year-old got a cake for her 21st birthday, which featured a picture of her mug shot on it. Very bold move, Biermann’s. I’m not sure I’d do this; I think it’s in poor taste, but hey — they’re free to do what they want.
Back in August, Kim spoke out about her daughter’s accident, saying, “Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender. When police arrived on scene, the investigating officer immediately initiated an investigation for DUI of alcohol. Despite Ariana’s constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the office incorrectly concluded that she was impaired. That was not the case.”
Ok, lawyer lingo! We all know Kim didn’t write this herself. But in her defense, some of the greatest Housewives, such as Teresa Giudice, have been accused of using a ghostwriter. We know it’s true, but still, a fan likes to dream a little.
As reported by E! News, Brielle Biermann uploaded an Instagram story of her family singing “Happy Birthday” to her sister. “Well,” Brielle captioned the video, “we’re finally 21.”
Despite the Biermann’s statement that Ariana was not under the influence, the responding officer at the time of the arrest noted that Ariana displayed “signs of impairment.” Further, another officer added that they found “four out of six clues” pointing to intoxication.
Following her arrest, Ariana admitted to smoking a THC vape pen the night before. Her attorney responded two days later, “Since she was being cooperative and honest, she admitted to consuming marijuana the day before, meaning over 24 hours prior to her contact with law enforcement,” he said. “… Thus, we appreciate the general public allowing this case to be tried on its merits, and not rhetoric or incorrect conclusions.”
