Kelly fights with Michael

Kelly Dodd Insults Emily Simpson By Comparing Her To Fiona From The Movie Shrek

There’s something about Shrek. For some reason, body shaming housewives across multiple franchises have used the lovable green ogre as a way to insult each other. We’ve heard it before – Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Jen Shah referred to bestie Heather Gay  as Shrek in leaked texts. An unfazed Heather inexplicably defended Jen and said, “Yea. Shrek is the ultimate anti-hero, so who gives a shit.” Whew! Couldn’t be me.

Now, the ultimate villain is using the recycled insult. According to therealhousewiveszone on Instagram, fired Real Housewives of Orange County and serial offender Kelly Dodd recently came after Emily Simpson. In a now deleted Instagram post, Kelly shared a photo of Emily in her green hued reunion dress. She used a split screen with a picture of Fiona from the movie Shrek to compare to Emily. Kelly captioned it, “Who rocked it better?”

But Kelly, who boasts over 700k followers, didn’t anticipate how her lame joke would be perceived. And fans were happy to put her in her place. One user wrote, “Oh gosh Kelly….I don’t like Emily AT ALL, but this is not kind!” Another added, “Petty.” Yet another commenter chided, “Not ok.” The comments continued to come in with one person pleading, “Please don’t be like this. I really want to like you but…..”

One individual wondered, “This is very distasteful, idk why you would do this?” Kelly finally responded and stated, “because she’s a bully.” How rich coming from Kelly, who spends all of her ample free time on social media bullying everyone she can think of. She’s called former costar Heather Dubrow “fugly face.” More recently, Kelly trolled Hailey Bieber by calling her a “cry baby” after Hailey made a Tik Tok asking to be left alone.

And Kelly doesn’t just insult people’s looks. She also goes after marginalized communities. She recently got herself kicked off a guest list after posting transphobic remarks on social media. Kelly quickly blamed her retracted invite on “cancel culture.” She whined, “The intolerance is so sad & counterproductive since we can’t have conversations and share thoughts & perspectives if we’re not together. I love all people & just wish tolerance worked both ways. The hypocrisy is real!”

Kelly wants people to be tolerant towards her and her views. Well, maybe she could try expressing a decent one. But Kelly thrives off of making others feel bad. Which is a huge indicator of unhappiness in your own life. If Kelly was content in life, why would she spend all of her free time making fun of others? That’s something only Kelly can answer for herself. And maybe she could if she shut up for once. As the kids like to say: “Delete your account.”

TELL US – DID KELLY CROSS A LINE? ARE YOU SICK OF HER BULLYING OTHERS? DO YOU THINK KELLY IS HAPPY WITH HER OWN LIFE?
