Lala Kent wants us to think she’s cool as a cucumber. But her reaction to her breakup with Randall Emmett was anything but chill. After finding out that he had allegedly been lying and cheating, Lala was understandably pissed. And had no problem talking about it. The Vanderpump Rules star dragged Randall, and dragged him hard. Clearly, there is a ton of bad blood between them and Lala was content to keep spilling it.
But they do share one year old daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett and are now bound together parenting her. That doesn’t sit well with Lala, who has said she wants to “maintain as much distance from [Randall] as possible.” She also revealed back in December that they only speak through a parenting app. She stated, “I am only interested in talking about Ocean and things that concern her. Other than that, you know, I’ve really just moved on with my life, which has felt really great.”
Months later, Lala hasn’t changed her stance. On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen questioned where Lala is at with her coparenting situation. He asked, “Are you still exclusively communicating with Randall only as much as it takes to successfully coparent?” Lala responded, “We parallel parent and I’m trying to move to zero contact. We’ll see how that goes.” Obviously, Lala wants nothing to do with the man she has alluded to being a narcissist.

For his part, Randall has taken a much more conciliatory tone. When he spoke with friend Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi on her podcast, he refused to speak negatively about his former fiancé. Said Randall of Lala, “I’ve made mistakes, she’s made mistakes, but I’m never going to bring that to light because that’s just not right.” He added, “For me, I just don’t feel it’s appropriate. I can’t tell her what to do. She’s a strong woman, and I just hope that in time that kind of all mellows out.”
Randall also confessed, “She’s the mother of my child, so no matter what happens in life, I will never disparage or talk ill about her because she’s Ocean’s mom. The truth is, I just always have to look at the big picture, which is she’s the mother of Ocean, and I just can’t talk badly about the mother of my child. I just can’t do it — no matter what is said about me or what she says.”

TELL US – DO YOU IT’S RIGHT FOR LALA TO HAVE ZERO CONTACT WITH RANDALL? WOULD IT BE BETTER FOR THEM WHEN IT COMES TO COPARENTING? DO YOU THINK THEY WILL EVER BE ON GOOD TERMS?
