Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently filming season 12. And after years of feeling stale and produced, the ladies finally gave it to us last season. Yes, the dynamic of it all was driven by Erika Jayne’s sudden divorce announcement and extensive legal troubles. But what really made it reality tv gold was how the women picked sides while it unfolded. Erika’s stories were often strange and seemingly unreliable. While everyone was wondering what exactly she knew, only Sutton Stracke really went there.
News came out that costars Sutton and Garcelle Beauvais recently unfollowed Erika on social media. So maybe it’s safe to say that Sutton isn’t the only one going there this season. As reported by Page Six, Garcelle revealed why she hit the unfollow button on Erika. Speaking on an episode of her talk show The Real, Garcelle didn’t get into the nitty gritty. But she admitted that at some point, Erika offended her. So she didn’t want to see “her posts.”
Garcelle explained, “OK, all I can say is, she called me something that I did not like, and so therefore, when somebody offends you in a way, I don’t want to see her posts, I don’t want to put a little like.” Curious to know what Erika came up with. Because this is the woman that called Sutton a “bitchy f*cking c*nt” in front of everyone at the reunion. I doubt she would go that far with Garcelle but I don’t doubt that Erika said something rude.
Garcelle reasoned, “So, I thought, I’m going to unfollow her, I don’t want to see her posts. Did I know it was going to cause World War 3?” Maybe because she’s still relatively new or maybe because she just doesn’t buy into the BS, Garcelle was surprised that people noticed. She caught wind of the disturbance once people reached out to ask what happened.

Garcelle said, “Friends were texting me going, ‘I can’t believe you unfollowing her is such a big deal.’ But it is. I guess it’s a new way of saying I don’t like you, but I don’t want to tell you, so I’m just going to unfollow you.”
It’s worth noting that Sutton also unfollowed Erika at the same time. Sutton and Garcelle were close last season. Sutton even cited Garcelle as the reason she didn’t quit after the Dinner Party From Hell Part 2.
Just in case anyone gets it twisted, Garcelle made sure to mention that she and Erika are currently “not friends.” For her part, Erika, who seems to revel in the online chatter about her, noticed a fan account posted that Garcelle stopped following her. Erika commented, “Well [let] me unfollow her back.” But maybe she forgot, because since I last checked, Erika still follows both Garcelle and Sutton.
