Andy Cohen And Tamra Judge Support Vicki Gunvalson After Ex-Fiance Steve Lodge Got Engaged

I think it’s safe to say that Vicki Gunvalson is already off to a bad start in 2022. News just dropped that her ex-fiance, Steve Lodge, got engaged to girlfriend Janice Carlson. And it all happened just three months after he and the former Real Housewives of Orange County broke up. Steve said in a statement, “I did ask Janis on December 20th if she would become Mrs. Steve Chavez Lodge, and she happily agreed. We will be married in April 2022. We are both very excited, incredibly happy, totally in love and look forward to our life together.” Blech.

After the story broke, friends rushed to support Vicki online. Andy Cohen tweeted, “If @vgunvalson doesn’t find a GREAT guy this year, it won’t be a good year. She deserves it. #FullLoveTankForVG.” Hmmmmm. Does she deserve it though? Moving on. Longtime friend Tamra Judge also chimed in on her Instagram stories. As reported by People, Tamra said that Vicki “dodged the lodge.”

For her part, Vicki has hinted that she’s in a new relationship. And tried to remain unbothered by giving a curt response about the engagement. Said Vicki, “I really don’t want to give him any more publicity. He’s a fame whore.” I would normally disagree with that assessment but Steve did feel the need to make a statement to media about his engagement. And it’s not like his failed run at California Governor put him on the map. No, it was Miss Victoria Gunvalson! People only care because he’s Vicki’s ex and I hope he knows that.

Vicki and Steve got engaged in April of 2019 after three years together. They confirmed their breakup in September of 2021. At the time, Vicki wrote on her Instagram, “The time has come for Steve and I to move forward or move on and we are …. moving on. There is no fault with either person, we are just going in different directions. I wish him the best life has to offer and to be happy, and he has wished the same for me.”

Unfortunately, that sentiment didn’t last long, with Vicki spilling some tea in the comments of an Instagram post Tamra made. Vicki dished, “He used me, he lied to me. He’s been dating a 36-year-old and is not what he portrays himself to be. No Christian man would do what he’s done.” She added, “He’s been flaunting around my town in OC making out in public places. It’s disgusting.”
