There are certain Bravolebrities that annoy me and I don’t care for. Kyle Richards. Melissa Gorga. Lisa Rinna. But then there are some who have just committed the unforgivable over the years. Jax Taylor. LeeAnne Locken. Malia White. I cannot tell you how much I loathe these people. And ever since Malia narc’d out Hannah Ferrier for having meds that helped her combat mental illness, Malia is at the top of my list. So for all you Malia fans, you might want to skip this one!
When Malia did Hannah dirty, it resulted in Hannah’s firing. And the backlash against Malia was pretty swift. So I thought for sure she wouldn’t be back for another season. And I was wrong.
Apparently, Malia is back for the newest season of Below Deck Mediterranean. Rookie Deckhand Alex Radcliffe dropped the news on a recent Instagram post. He posted a picture of himself with Malia and the caption, “Pumped to see this 4”11 badass bosun back in action on a new season of @belowdeckbravo. Btw @maliakpwhite never forget who your favorite deckhand was. #belowdeckmed.” That gets a big ew from me.
I’m not the only one feeling this way. Fans immediately flooded his comments expressing their erm, disapproval. That’s putting it lightly. One fan commented, “You might be the only one that’s pumped.” While another sniped, “No one is actually a fan of hers.”

More comments included, “My fave with my least fave”, “Hard pass on Malia“, “Won’t watch it because of Malia and [Captain] Sandy.” There was also a simple, “Malia sucks.” I don’t disagree with any of this.
Someone even went as far as to comment, “I can’t believe they wanted her back….Karen of the sea.” As someone named Karen, I want to make it clear that I don’t claim Malia! Another fan quipped, “The Bosun nobody asked for.” I couldn’t agree more with that statement. I’ve never loved the Bosuns that BDM had but Malia wasn’t what I was hoping for when it came to the first female to do so.

One fan admitted, “If Malia’s back, I’m not watching.” While another told Alex “that makes one of us.” Finally, one commenter summed it all up perfectly and said, “Might not have been the most popular post.” LOL forever at this one. I don’t know if Alex cares or not but maybe if he wants to stay in the good graces of the fans, he won’t align himself with Malia. Then again if he doesn’t, she might find a way to narc on him too. I guess we will see this season.
