The men of Real Housewives of New Jersey can hold their own when it comes to reality TV entertainment. Joe Gorga blazed the trail when he joined as the brother of the woman whom the show revolves around. He and Teresa Giudice brought the family drama for sure. Slowly, the crew built up to include Frank Catania, Bill Aydin, Joe Benigno, and Evan Goldschneider. There is no other show in the Real Housewives franchise that includes the husbands as much as RHONJ. And we love it.
Of course, the guys will get involved in the drama. It’s hard not to react in some way when all the women are in conflict. The rather damaging fight between Teresa and Jackie Goldschneider understandably involved the entire cast. The fallout from Teresa spreading rumors about Evan cheating on his wife split the group, and even the guys were not able to avoid it.
The subject came up during a poker night at Joe Gorga’s house. Joe B. admitted that he had heard the rumor too, but did not clarify the timing. He only said that he overheard wife Margaret Josephs speak of it with her assistants. Margaret later insisted that she was discussing it AFTER Teresa dropped the bomb at Evan’s birthday party.
Unfortunately, Bill left out these details when he reported back to his wife Jennifer Aydin. At the time, he told Jennifer that Joe confirmed the rumors. This led to a huge blowout at Dolores Catania’s shore house. The fight was so intense, that it ultimately led to a truce between Jackie and Teresa.
Interestingly enough, Bill was left unscathed, though he was one to add fuel to the fire by sharing what he had heard at the boy’s night to Jennifer.

But now, Joe Benigno is holding Bill’s feet to the fire. In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Joe finally called him out. Well, sort of.
When asked if he was upset at Bill, Joe joked, “actually yes because that’s boys night. And boy’s code. You’re not supposed to break that s–t.”
“I think we all have loose lips sometimes,” Bill replied laughing, “I think Joe had his lips loose at some point so, it all depends.”
Joe Gorga did the diplomatic thing and just blamed the tequila.
And so all is well with the husbands of Real Housewives of New Jersey. We need more of this!
