When Teresa Giudice told her cousins Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri that she was going to “cut the cancer out,” she meant it. From that moment on, their roles on Real Housewives of New Jersey diminished. After that, they disappeared completely.
Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga used to be friends with Kathy, but once, Melissa and Teresa “made up,” the Gorgas left the Wakiles in the dust; I.e. they stopped filming the show with them anymore.
Kathy’s daughter Victoria Wakile tied the knot over the weekend in what was hopefully not a coronavirus super spreader event. Page Six posted about Melissa and Joe not being in attendance, which again isn’t shocking since they haven’t been on good terms for years.
Page Six captioned its photo with “#VictoriaWakile, the daughter of former #RHONJ star #KathyWakile, got hitched, and notably, her cousins #JoeGorga and #MelissaGorga were not in attendance.”

Kathy’s son Joseph Wakile turned that non-news story about the Gorgas’ absence into something hilarious, per Page Six. Well, it was hilarious in my opinion, anyway. He commented on that social media post with “Lmao we cut those farm animals out of our life years ago that’s why they weren’t in attendance.” I just wish he threw in a real throwback reference by using the phrase “raccoon face” instead.
To be honest, I doubt Melissa and Joe care about the diss. All publicity is good publicity, right? And now Melissa has the option to switch things up by trashing a different family member instead of Teresa. For once.
