During a recent Real Housewives of Orange County episode, Braunwyn Windham-Burke said she was happy to be more present for her seven children now that she’s sober. Then, we watched her walk them up the stairs.
After that, she had a conversation with her husband Sean Burke, continuing to talk about being more present for her kids. Then, the editors did her dirty cutting to a scene of the nanny getting the kids ready for bed while Braunwyn filmed a scene with Sean. Oh, the irony. I’m not gonna lie, I was cringing during that moment. Now, Kelly Dodd is calling out Braunwyn for her reliance on nannies.
The Instagram account realhousewivesfranchise captured a screenshot of a scathing comment Kelly made about Braunwyn and seemingly responding to criticism she’s received parenting her own daughter Jolie Dodd (the post she was responding to wasn’t included in the screenshot).
Kelly began, “This is so wrong… hypocrisy at its highest level. I never abandoned my daughter during Covid. She was with her grandmother and father when I was stuck in NYC.” Kelly’s new husband Rick Leventhal was bicoastal before. Before living with Kelly and Jolie in California, he was based in New York City.

Then Kelly went in on Braunwyn, writing, “Braunwyn, on the other hand, travelled to Puerto Rico, Aspen, Salt Lake City, and elsewhere without her kids who spent and continue to spend considerable time with nannies, not their mom.”
In October, Braunwyn was in the Hamptons. A couple days prior, she spent time with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs in New York City. Before that, she participated in the Women’s March, which took place in Washington, D.C. She even saw Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby while she was in the area. Earlier in October, Braunwyn vacationed in Puerto Rico.

In September, Braunwyn visited Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay in Salt Lake City along with Kary Brittingham from Real Housewives of Dallas and her friend Noella Bergener.
Kelly pointed out, “I have one child (teenager). She has 7 [kids], including 4 aged 2-6. There’s so much more I can’t wait to say at the reunion so stay tuned. Poor Braunwyn will be eaten alive.”
Damn. This season was already shaping up to be “everyone vs. Braunwyn,” so that last statement doesn’t surprise me, not at all. It’s bound to be rough reunion for Braunwyn.
