Katie Maloney Is “Trying To Be Supportive” Of Kristen Doute And Stassi Schroeder After Getting Fired From Vanderpump Rules; Says They Are All Talking About How To “Make A Difference”

Two thirds of the Witches of Weho are dunzo on Vanderpump Rules. By now, we all know Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired from Pump Rules. That leaves Katie Maloney as the lone witch.

Their departure is necessary, but that doesn’t mean people won’t be feeling their absence on the show – whenever it comes back. Andy Cohen recently shared that he’s going to miss both of them next season. Lala Kent compared Stassi and Kristen getting the boot to when someone passes away and Tom Schwartz is also still in denial about it all. So, it should be no surprise that Katie seconds Bubba’s sentiments (I know – so gross).

In an exclusive interview with Life & Style, Katie shared that it “hasn’t become super real” yet that her sparring partners friends were fired. “Until we get back to filming,” she continued, “I know it’s not going to be the same and be really weird.” Katie “accepts” that they were let go, and says that she’s “just been trying to be supportive of Kristen and Stassi, and their journey now.”

Katie elaborates, “I’m having the same conversations I’m having with them that I’m having with all my friends. Like, what’s going on and how we find our part in all of this and make a difference.” Katie emphasized that Kristen and Stassi “are actively doing that same thing, too,” and added, “we’ve all got a lot of work to do.” Yeah, they do.

Katie also talked with Life & Style about the filming status of Pump Rules, saying the remaining cast are, “just sitting ducks waiting to find out something.” Due to COVID, they are unable to film and “everything’s still shut down, you know, Sur and TomTom have not reopened…until…COVID becomes less of a threat,” filming cannot start. “So, it’s just kind of contingent on all of this,” Katie said.

Who knows what will happen with Pump Rules. What if they don’t get to film this year? That will definitely give Bravo more time to think.
