90 Day Fiance Stars Avery Mills & Omar Albakour Are Living In Different Countries; Avery Explains Relationship Status

Seeing happy endings on 90 Day Fiance is always gratifying.  After all the hardship of living apart and nurturing long-distance relationships, it’s great to see a couple finally together.  Of course, it’s easy to spot someone who is in love with a green card.  A lot of the couples are so unbelievable that we just watch them for a good laugh.

Then there are the couples that are totally adorable and one can’t help but wish the best for them.  Rachel Walters and Jon Walters come to mind.  Also, Avery Mills and Omar Albakour.  Both of these couples are dealing with legal limitations and bureaucratic issues that are keeping them apart.  That challenge could have broken a lot of relationships.  Maybe that’s why rumors emerged that Omar and Avery had split.

Currently, Omar and Avery are still living apart after a year of marriage.  And 90 Day Fiance fans, unaware of the legal issues they are facing, had questions.  According to an article from Blasting News, Avery explained why Omar is still living in Syria and clarified that they are still happily married.

During the show, Avery often said that she would move to Syria if the timing to get Omar’s spousal visa was prolonged.  It turns out, if she did that in haste, it would ruin any chances of Omar ever getting one in the future.  These difficulties are the result of a travel ban the USA imposed on Syria.

Their best chance, according to Avery’s lawyer, is to apply for a waiver to the travel ban.  Avery would have to prove that she can financially support Omar once he reaches the USA.  So she is currently focused on working, and getting through school.

There is a 5% success rate for approval for this waiver so Avery and Omar have discussed other living options.  They have short-listed Canada, U.A.E., and Kuwait.

Despite these tremendous hardships keeping them physically apart, Avery and Omar are very much together.  She posted a sweet pic of the two of them to her Instagram.  Avery had a clear message to fans.  She wrote, “I’m not sure why there is an article saying Omar and I aren’t together, but we are very much Happily married and we have never split up.  So for the people that rushed to my page to see if the tabloids were true, they aren’t.  Still my best friend.”

Avery’s followers flooded her page with messages of encouragement and well-wishes.  Hopefully, the couple gets some good news soon.
