Lisa Rinna Hates Her “Dumb Ass” Tagline; Shares 1 She Wants Instead

If you’re anything like me, you’ve dreamt up your Real Housewives tagline and imagined yourself in a Jovani over-the-top evening gown, striking a pose and holding out a giant diamond in the palm of your hand. But for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna, her Season 10 tagline isn’t exactly what she had hoped for. In fact, she hates it.

If you follow Lisa on Instagram (if you don’t, you’re missing out), you know that Lisa loves to dance. From her makeup-free, pajama-wearing TikTok routines, to dancing on tabletops at Andy Cohen’s baby shower, there’s no denying this woman loves to shake it. But as taglines usually set the tone for what’s to come during the season, I’m seriously hoping Lisa has more in store for us this upcoming season than dancing.

Last week, Lisa took to her social media accounts to share her new tagline, which is “The Secret to life? Dance like everyone is watching.” But as People has reported, she just isn’t feeling it. The RHOBH star took to her Instagram Story asking fans to weigh in on whether or not Bravo should change her “dumbass”  tagline (her words, not mine) to an alternative tagline that Bravo recorded already.

The tagline that Lisa wants in place of her current one is “When people ask my sign? I say dollar.” Cringe. Lisa told her fans that “it fits perfectly because we go to Erika [Jayne]’s house and have our horoscope/signs read!” She tagged Bravo in the post. She also called her followers to action to ask the network to change her tagline to the one she likes.

While I think her current tagline is a little boring, I find the alternative to be even worse. Lisa has had some pretty iconic taglines in the past, my favorite being from Season 8: “I don’t have to buy it because I already own it.” It totally describes Lisa’s personality and is a nod to her “owning” her drama-stirring ways and outspoken nature on the show.

But there may be hope for Lisa yet. As People reported, Housewives superfan Brandon Fierman created a petition on change.org, calling for Bravo to change her tagline. Now that is dedication. He writes, “Bravo chose one of the bland options Lisa Rinna has provided as a tagline for season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“As many know, viewers have not recently been pleased with this franchise. Personally, Beverly Hills is one of my favorite, mostly due to Lisa Rinna. What she brings to the show is a sense of self awareness, addressing the show as a job- bringing the drama, and stirring the pot in the best way possible.  Aside from this, she is genuine and brings much needed comedy, especially in the current state of the world,” he continues.

I totally agree with his assessment. With Lisa Vanderpump out of the picture, Lisa Rinna is the saving grace of this series. Whether you love her or love to hate her, she always delivers the petty drama that we so love on Housewives. While I think Lisa could have avoided this entire situation by providing better taglines in the first place, we’ll just have to wait and see if she’s won this tagline battle with Bravo. The show returns for Season 10 this Wednesday.
