I know I’m not the only one reeling from the Tiger King viewing experience. There are so many unanswered questions. There is just so much to unpack and such an ecclectic group of characters. And by “characters” I mean real people who just beyond outrageous.
Spoiler alert: the series ended with Jeff Lowe cooperating with the feds to take down Joe Exotic and Tim Stark. Currently, Joe Exotic is in jail. Still, that hasn’t stopped him from filing a $94 million dollar lawsuit. Rapper Cardi B even spoke out about what she views as an injustice to Joe. She doesn’t think that he should be behind bars and talked about starting an online fundraiser for him. However, Jeff could not be more proud of his involvement in this whole situation.
Jeff shared his reaction to the Netflix series in a now-deleted post on the zoo’s Facebook page. According to popculture.com, Jeff’s post began, “[wife] Lauren [Lowe] and I just finished watching the Tiger King. Overall, we think they did a good job.”
Jeff wrote, “A little sensationalism here and there, but for the most part it was a decent Readers Digest version, telling the story of a sick, twisted animal abuser, Joe Exotic.” Pot meet kettle, much?

Jeff shared, “When I agreed to be involved in this docuseries I was slightly concerned that [my] Son’s Of Anarchy lifestyle might be too much for the average person to handle. I make no apologies for living my life to the fullest extent. Bu[t] those concerns completely vanished when I saw the segment on Doc Antle, Joe’s Messiah and role model. Even I was like, [what the fuck]?” That’s how a lot of viewers to the segments featuring Jeff, but carry on.
He declared, “I will always believe that our biggest contribution to the animal kingdom was helping the feds take down monsters like Joe Exotic and Tim Stark.”

The post concluded, “No zoo we ever build will have the positive impact of taking out the nation’s largest tiger cub traffickers. Thank you all for your continued support. Lauren and I are forging on, everyday to complete a new facility that can provide out animals with more space, far away from ‘The Curse of Joe Exotic.'”
That’s quite the take for someone who is rather questionable himself. I wonder why he deleted the post though. I mean, I sure have my suspicions, but I’m still curious.
