Who else is excited that the newest season of Shahs of Sunset has finally arrived? Since we last saw the Shahs crew, there’s been one bombshell story in the news after the other. I’m not sure if they are even going to be able to fit all of the drama into one season.
For starters, Mercedes “MJ” Javid had a miscarriage scare and a near death experience after the birth of her son. She also had a major falling out with her best friend Reza Farahan, which might have prompted her husband Tommy Feight to allegedly vandalize Reza’s home. And if you think that’s crazy, according to Mike Shouhed, we haven’t seen anything yet.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mike claimed the newest season of Shahs is the best show on Bravo, period. He said, “I can guarantee that this is the best show that Bravo has, or will have, on air — ever — is going to be this season of Shahs. Come find me if you don’t think so.” Those are some fighting words!
Mike added, “It’s crazy, we have all grown, some closer some apart. It has been a very dynamic year for us, a lot of great things have happened, but a lot of bad ish has happened, as well.”

Let’s start with the great things first. Mike said, “It’s not all drama, it’s not all crazinesss. We are a group of friends, and we do love each other very much … at the end of the day, there is a lot of funniness, a lot of craziness, and babies and new relationships.”
And now for the “bad ish” stuff. My guess is Mike meant his beef with Reza. Not too long ago, we learned that Reza slapped Mike with a lawsuit for selling a t-shirt with his face on it. No offense, but I’m sure the t-shirt wasn’t a best-seller anyway.

Mike said about Reza, “The guy is just, he’s just very emotional. He has a lot of demons that he has been dealing with, and if you are not with him, you are against him.” How many times have we seen Mike lose his sh*t on the show? How quickly one forgets.
He continued, “I’m a Libra, I like balance. I like love, friendship, and harmony, and he likes, like, cutthroat, are you with me or are you against me? And it’s like, I can’t be with you, because I don’t know the full story yet. I can’t make a judgment without understanding exactly what has happened.”

Hmm, do we have a new and mature Mike on our hands? Naw! All I know is I can’t wait to see the good, the bad, and everything in between. The Shahs crew is definitely going to deliver this season, and I am here for it!
