Dont Be Tardy’s Kim Zolciak is a mother of six. Which means she is most likely constantly on her toes to make sure they stay safe.
And while bumps and bruises are par for the course with having kids, it’s important to do what we can to keep them from any serious harm. Recently, Kim’s family had an experience that turned into a PSA for the rest of us.
A few years ago, viewers witnessed the scary aftermath when the Biermann family dog bit Kim’s son Kash Biermann in the face. The injury resulted in having to undergo surgery to fix the damage.
Recently, Kim’s family had experienced another potentially traumatic event. Thankfully, because of a helmet, her son Kane Biermann, came out physically unharmed. People reported that Kim originally shared the news of the harrowing accident on her Instagram Stories.

Everything started innocently enough. A simple go-kart ride around the neighborhood “in a circle where they go all the time,” Kim explained. But it appeared as though Kim had a feeling something was going to go wrong. “I’m very intuitive,” she stated, “so before we go, I said to Kroy [Biermann] that Kane needs to be in the middle between KJ [Biermann] and Kash.”
While admitting to being the “nervous nelly” in the family, Kim also admitted that she’d “felt something very strange” and that she’d “had a dream that he needs to be in the middle.” That is a very specific dream. And maybe an indicator that you should have skipped go-karts for that day? Or at least until the “feeling” of impending doom passed. But that’s just my opinion.

So while the boys were riding their carts, Kim stated they heard what sounded like a bang. She immediately thought of Kane. She then directed her husband, Kroy, to where a pile of rocks was located. It was then she saw Kroy “take the entire go-kart and flip it with Kane inside. Kane was upside down.”
Kim shared photos on Instagram documenting the pile of rock. She even showed Kane’s helmet, which had been “destroyed” in the accident. “I want you guys to understand the importance of a helmet,” Kim said, “[The helmet] ultimately saved Kane’s life. I was so distraught I poured a glass of wine and Kroy hugged me tight and I cried.”

It definitely sounded as though it was a scary incident for Kim and her family. Let’s hope that’s the last for the new year. And always remember to wear your helmet kids!
