Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie has been living her best life. She recently dumped dead weight Adam Spott after she learned he had a girlfriend. Better late than never! Scheana likes her men with a reality TV pedigree. Just ask her possible new flame DeMario Jackson, or past flings Robby Hayes and Carl Radke.
Scheana has been having fun and that’s all that matters. And it’s refreshing to watch compared to the rest of the Pump Rules crew who are all in “committed” relationships. Ahem, Jax Taylor. Speaking of committed, one of Scheana’s buddies, James Kennedy, is apparently now committed in his relationship and sobriety. And Scheana has all the details.
If you need a refresher, James had it pretty rough last season. He fat-shamed Katie Maloney, and possibly cheated on his girlfriend Raquel Leviss. That questionable behavior was more than likely fueled by his drinking, which also got him ousted from his DJ gig at SUR.
On top of that, half of the cast wanted him off of the show and tried to ostracize him from the group. Still, James had a few allies, Scheana being one of them. She even shared that James belonged on the show regardless of his behavior.

But life seems to be clear and focused now for James. In an interview with In Touch Weekly, Scheana shared the good news about James being committed to his sobriety and his relationship. Does this mean that all the drama will come from Jax instead of James next season?
Scheana said, “James Kennedy really surprised me this year. He’s been sober for a little over 11 weeks now, going to meetings and all of that and I’m really proud of him…after years of taking a week off or two weeks off and then going crazy again, like he’s really taking his sobriety seriously this time”

Well, this is great news! Go James. Last we heard, he was going strong at four weeks sober. And he doesn’t have a famous rapper denying it’s true. Can’t say the same for his former best friend Lala Kent!
Scheana shared about James and Raquel,“I’ve just seen such a difference in him and his relationship.” And it’s looking like James might be the next one to propose.

Of course, an update from Scheana about James also has to include information about herself. She said, “I think he’s more creative and I think he was afraid that he maybe wouldn’t be as talented or creative without it, but he’s doing amazing and we’re actually gonna do a song together soon, too. My first music video.”
No Scheana, no. She really needs to find something else she enjoys doing besides singing. She is not going to be the next Erika Jayne.

Scheana added, “I love him, but it’s not even like he’s crazy now. He doesn’t want it. He sees how well he’s doing without it and it’s just a different outlook on life.”
This must be why James recently said that his newfound sobriety will give him the upper hand against his castmates in the upcoming season. And I am here for it!
