Well, we made it through another season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It has been a rough one and I think I need my own vacation from this cast! Season 9 of my beloved RHOBH has been a bit exhausting. If I saw Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna or Dorit Kemsley on the streets of Beverly, I would probably ask them for a refund for the season. Cash or verified gift card only from Dorit!
As Lisa Vanderpump stopped filming with her co-stars, the other Housewives did not have much to do all season, other than drink, hide lawsuits, shamelessly promote their businesses and complain about LVP. Not much of interest happened until the reunion when Camille Grammer barreled in with guns blazing. She was especially miffed that Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave shaded her wedding. Now, Teddi is explaining her side of things. Whether we like it or not!
In her Bravo blog, Teddi declared, “I must say that while this second season may have been tougher for me, it also brought me closer friendships and lots of life lessons, so in the end it was a win.”
What life lessons did Teddi discover? Learning to better hide her tracks when setting up her co-stars? Or that drinking to oblivion on camera will be YouTube gold forever?
Teddi also explained her shady comment about Camille’s wedding during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. She stated, “I do want to address saying that the best part of Camille’s wedding was the departure. We filmed the after show having seen a lot of the episodes. During that time, I was able to see the real Camille–the one who incessantly went after me in her confessionals every chance she got.”

Apparently, Teddi doesn’t take kindly to being called a know-it-all. You would think that someone who interjects her opinion into every conversation would be used to being called out, but that does not seem to be the case with Talky Jo.
Admittedly, Camille did shade Teddi a lot in her talking heads. As no other cast members really held the accountability coach accountable, someone had to. Poor Camille–always forced to do the dirty work!

Getting to the heart of the matter, Teddi confesses, “So, having seen how Camille really felt, I was shady back. She absolutely didn’t have to have any of us at her wedding. We all happily went to support her, and it was stunning. But seeing how Camille truly felt just didn’t sit right with me.”
Hearing that you were being put down by a castmate behind your back during the season as Camille did to Teddi would have to burn. Although cast members are expected to film at events, going all the way to Hawaii for a wedding that you might not have been wanted at would be hurtful as it involves planning, time and effort to attend.

Taking at least some degree of accountability for shading Camille’s wedding, Teddi admits, “So I said what I said. I was trying to make light of a situation where I was clearly less welcome than I was led to believe.”
Conveniently–or strategically–Teddi leaves out that she also went after Camille during the season. Not to mention venting about her week after week in her blogs.

Summing up, Teddi took the opportunity to thank RHOB’s fans, stating, “I appreciate all of the love and support from viewers out there.” Awe, that was nice, Teddi! All warm and fuzzy.
Of course, Teddi being Teddi, she also gets in a dig at less supportive viewers, saying, “I also appreciate the hate-filled Twitter accounts that love to come for me. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but tweets will never hurt me.” You have to wonder, does Teddi ever stop to think that comments like this just might be connected to people roasting her on Twitter? Or why Camille enjoys targeting her? Knowing know-it-all Teddi, probably not!

Maybe part of the problem between Teddi and Camille is that they are more alike then they would like to admit. Both are headstrong, opinionated, overly sensitive and always like to be right. The two are bound to clash. If nothing else, their mutual animosity during the season was a welcome break from Puppy Gate!
