Vanderpump Rules stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have come a long way. The couple just tied the knot in Kentucky. The wedding happened in spite of a host of obstacles (some self-imposed by Jax himself), including the passing of Jax’s father. They even sweetly saved a seat for Jax’s dad at the ceremony.
Determined to prove they have weathered the worst of their collective past, the couple went all out for the big day. Brittany’s ring was modeled after Princess Diana and Meghan Markle’s rings. They also married in a castle modeled after Windsor Castle. Every person they ever met (except Billie Lee) was invited to the nuptials, including John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. Even though the couple has only been married a few weeks, they have been vocal about having baby fever since before the big day.
In an interview with People, Jax and Brittany revealed that they can’t wait to start a family. Brittany told People, “I cannot wait to be a mom, and Jax cannot wait to be a dad. He talks about it all the time.” She even added, “I think he’s getting more excited than I am even, which I never thought would be possible.” Same here, Brittany!
Jax revealed to People that his father’s passing has motivated him to become a father himself. He shared, “My dad worked extremely hard. We lived in the suburbs, but my dad had to work very hard for us to have everything. That’s my goal. Work as hard as I can and build a few businesses here so I can spend as much time as I can with my kids, because I want to be a part of everything that they do.”

He’s not kidding either. Jax added, “I want to be the coach. I want to be in the PTA. I want to be a soccer dad, a gymnastics dad, whatever it is. I just want to be part of it all. I’m working hard right now to build up a good future.”
Who is this talking?! I guess long gone are the days when Jason Cauchi would strip off his cardigan to start fights in parking lots. In all honesty, I wish them well. Maybe Jax has changed after all?
