Heidi Klum And Tim Gunn Have A New Fashion Reality TV Show

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn will soon be gracing our screens again. Just not on Bravo, and not with Project Runway. As most fans know, Project Runway recently left Lifetime to return back to its original network, Bravo. And after sixteen seasons, Heidi and Tim finally said “Auf Wiedersehen.”

This paved the way for new hosts, Christian Siriano and Karlie Kloss to “make it work.” As much as I love Christian and his designs, the show wasn’t the same without Heidi and Tim. If you felt the same as I did, fear not! There is good news for fans of the former Project Runway hosts.

Heidi and Tim will be back with a brand new fashion reality TV show. According to an article from Today, their new show will not be on Bravo, but “will stream on Amazon Prime video” instead. So, if you already don’t pay that pesky yearly fee for Amazon Prime, this might be the time to pony up!

Their new fashion competition show will be called “Making the Cut.” Sounds fierce. And I love the double entendre, cutting fabric and being cut from the show. Twelve contestants, fashion designers and entrepreneurs, will compete to “receive a $1 million check from Amazon to grow their clothing brand.”

So, what’s the twist? The looks created on the show “will be available on Amazon.” Ok, count me in. Can Christian drop his new hosting duties on Project Runway to come back and compete on this show instead?

To up the glam factor, supermodel Naomi Campbell will be one of the judges. Let’s just hope she doesn’t have her BlackBerry on hand if she doesn’t like one the designs. And yes, BlackBerry’s are still a thing.

Other judges will include “TV personality-turned-designer Nicole Richie, former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld and CFDA winner and Altuzarra creative director Joseph Altuzarra.” I still can’t get over how the former The Simple Life star turned into a major fashion designer and icon. Maybe this means Paris Hilton might show up?

I am super excited for this show. Not only to see Tim and Heidi again, but to see what the chemistry will be like with the new judges. Naomi doesn’t mess around. And I love the twist that you can actually buy the clothes you see designed. Fingers crossed this show has the charm and fun to go along with it.

TELL US – ARE YOU EXCITED FOR HEIDI AND TIM’S NEW SHOW? WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE IDEA THAT YOU CAN ORDER THE CLOTHES SEEN ON THE SHOW? WOULD YOU STILL WATCH PROJECT RUNWAY?
