On last night’s episode of Texicanas, the drama went up another level when Mayra Farret confronts the women. Penny Ayarzagoitia is forced to explain how Mayra was able to see the group chat in her phone. She claims she innocently showed her a picture and saw the group chat. Hmmm… you know you are guilty when you demand to know how someone knows you betrayed them. SMH… everyone talks behind their friends back to a degree, but this is too much. Mayra has a reason for every claim her “friends” make about her behavior. She actually makes some really good points and succeeds in making them look petty as hell.
Anayancy Nolasco is still complaining that Mayra is attending another function the day of her charity event. Why does she care when she did everything to push her out after asking for her help? Anayancy could have simply explained she decided to do the charity by herself. Karla Ramirez also brings up her grievances about Mayra not purchasing the jewelry she put on hold.
Mayra simply sent a text saying “no thank you” when Karla later inquired. Mayra digs her hole even deeper when she shrugs it off by responding “welcome to retail”. Okay… I was with you until you gave that excuse. It’s one thing to cancel with a large business and it’s another when it’s your friend. I’m not saying she HAD to buy the merchandise, but she could have handled the situation more gingerly. Later in an interview, Mayra reveals it was her husband who said no to the hefty price tag for the purchase. I wish she had just said that to Karla, rather than just dismissing her.

Mayra is shocked that everyone is interrogating her instead of apologizing. She is especially hurt by the things Lorena Martinez said behind her back. During the argument, Lorena gets extremely frustrated and storms out of the room. SMH… Lorena’s husband, Ignacio Martinez tries to console Mayra as she cries in the hallway. Meanwhile, Karla’s husband, Manoli Ramirez advises her to ignore Mayra and end their friendship. Wow…. Lorena’s husband melted my heart. I think it’s sad that NONE of the ladies came and consoled her. The only person who actually seemed to care about her feelings was Ignacio. I wouldn’t talk to any of those bitches ever again! Don’t get me wrong, Mayra isn’t without fault but I don’t like a group ganging up on one person. If any of the Texicanas ladies were her true friends, they would have realized this wasn’t right.
Mayra retires to her room to have an emotional breakdown and do yoga. The women then begin to interrogate Penny again on how Mayra saw the messages. They all believe she showed Mayra the messages on purpose. Mayra calls her husband to vent and to let him know she is ending the trip early. Lorena is starting to have regrets about the way things were left earlier. I’m surprised Penny lounged at the pool while Mayra had a breakdown that she caused. I would have left on the first thing smoking after seeing how everyone truly felt about me. Go where you are celebrated and not just tolerated!!!!!!!!!!

Lorena calls Mayra to talk about what happened earlier. For me, it would have been a little too late at this point. Lorena apologizes for her part in the drama. It’s clear that Mayra is emotionally drained from the trip from hell. Mayra decides to avoid an awkward encounter and just ride home alone. SMH… talk about mean girls.
Mayra talks to her husband, Fernando Farret, about the drama after the trip. He asks her to reflect and see if there is anything she would do differently. When he inquires about Anayancy’s event, Mayra decides not to attend given their last interaction. Penny meets with her bestie, Sabrina, and recounts the trip. Sabrina is shocked Penny didn’t stand up for Mayra while she was being attacked by the group. I am glad at least someone appears to be mature. It’s extremely disappointing that grown women with children would behave that way.
It’s the night of Anayancy’s charity event. From the look of the balloons and decor, she probably would have benefited from Mayra’s help. Insert side eye emoji. Anayancy has the nerve to be annoyed that Mayra decided not to come to the event. Penny attempts to defend Mayra and the group twists it around on her. Rather than the ladies admitting they said some harsh things, they are more concerned by how she found out. Who else is tired of Luz Ortiz’s friend inserting herself into all the drama? Someone, please get this extra off the set, please!
