On last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After, there was more whining, accusations, and people being forced to walk on eggshells to secure their future as green card recipients. I honestly, don’t know why these people sign up for this process. Do they think their relationship is any different from all of the others that failed miserably?
Apparently, Larissa Dos Santos Lima is deathly afraid that Debbie Johnson, the cats, and Colt Johnson will hear her true feelings about them. So, she has to take interviews in the car outside the home. She didn’t seem scared when she was at dinner going toe to toe with Debbie earlier. While she talks to producers, Debbie and her son are gossiping like school girls about how mean she is. His mother feels that Colt is always making excuses for his wife and she doesn’t deserve a new ring after flushing the original one down the toilet. Yet, when Larissa comes back inside the house they both hang their head and say “you’re right you deserve a new ring.” Are these two actually adults or is this a joke or something.
Colt (Las Vegas, Nevada) & his mom Debbie Larissa (Brazil)
Larissa has definitely made it clear she is no longer happy with Colt-e. She told him if he wants a pretty wife he needs to pay for her to have the things she needs to stay that way. Honey, when you saw the car with no air and his mom living in the house did you not realize then he wasn’t going to provide the American dream you saw on TV? In a tense conversation, she warns him that they may be headed for divorce if things don’t change.
Larissa’s trial is coming up and Colt chose to take his mom, not his wife on a date to de-stress. Insert side emoji here, please! I guess their new favorite pastime is discussing how much they hate dealing with their new sister wife Larissa. Debbie even becomes so overcome with emotion that she cries thinking of having to continue to share Colt. Honestly, this is the weirdest mother and son relationship. I agree that Larissa is annoying, but there is something very odd about their dynamic.

On the day of the trial, Larissa fears getting deported. Colt decides not to go to court so that he isn’t asked to testify against his wife. But of course, Debbie has to drive her to court, so she will be able to report back all the details to her son. It’s clear that she will not be deported. However, we will have to wait until next week exactly what other details will be revealed.
Nicole (Bradenton, Florida) & Azan (Morocco)
Nicole Nafziger is still surviving life without Azan Tefou with short video chats and delusion. Instead of figuring out a way to get married, she suggests going on a vacation to a place that doesn’t require a visa. Of course, Azan agrees to a free vacation that his sugar momma Nicole can’t afford.
They decide on a place in the Caribbean, where they can walk on the beach. Nicole smiles suggestively as she happily tells a cringing Azan they can share one room and make out on the beach. Ughh…

Poor May. What will this little girl be forced to witness if her mother can scrounge up the money for this trip?
Nicole goes to see a recruitment advisor. Surprise: she has virtually no job skills. Additionally, she wants them to know that she is not committed to staying anywhere for very long. She could have saved us all some time and went straight to McDonald’s for employment. But I guess she is willing to leave no stone unturned in order to fund a trip with her scam man.
Pedro (Dominican Republic) & Chantel (Atlanta, GA)
Chantel Everett’s mother calls to invite Pedro Jimeno and her daughter to Thanksgiving. Instead of using this opportunity to try to resolve their MANY issues, Chantel and her mother act clueless as usual. The last time Pedro attended dinner with them, a fight broke out. The table was trashed and Chantel’s mother threatened to call immigration on him and his sister while holding her weave. Ummmm….
I think most can understand why Pedro’s reaction to the invite was “hell no.” It truly confuses me how Chantel acts like she has no concept of why her husband doesn’t want to be around her family. Although his sister and mother may use Pedro for money at times, I have never seen them mistreat Chantel his presence. I guess Chantel’s mother thinks by saying “our house and bathroom is yours” in Spanish, that will all be forgiven…SMH
Chantel goes to visit her younger brother River Everett at the recording studio. He feels like his sister abandoned him after her husband fought him at the last dinner. Once again Chantel doesn’t defend or explain her husband’s point of view. She just agrees that everything is Pedro’s fault and he needs to apologize. Her brother is not open to reconciling. He wants nothing to do with Pedro.
It’s the day of Thanksgiving. Chantel tries again to pressure her husband to attend dinner at her family’s home. Pedro still doesn’t feel like he is a part of their family and didn’t feel like anyone in her family tried to apologize for the state of their relationship. While Chantel is at dinner, her husband seems to be the only topic of conversation. She literally does nothing to defend her marriage or husband.

Her father even accuses him of possibly of being on steroids. Then, her mother brings out a stun gun and says this is her way to “show a person the door.” This family is completely insane and has no sense of empathy. The man is in a new country without any family or friends and this is the way he is treated by his wife’s family.
Chantel, if you want to stay married you need to keep your family out of your marriage. Meanwhile, Chantel’s sister’s date is sitting at dinner looking like the main character from the movie, Pootie Tang and no one is questioning his intentions. I need the Family Chantel to find another way to bond beyond talking about Pedro at this point.
Elizabeth (Tampa, FL) & Andre (Moldova)
Andrei Castravet and Elizabeth Potthast go to the doctor to hear their baby’s heartbeat for the first time. While there, they finally find out that they are having a little girl. At least Andrei won’t be teaching his son how to control his mother and other women.
Elizabeth’s family plans a gender reveal party to learn the sex of the newest member of the family. While there, Andrei basically tells Elizabeth’s dad that he plans on providing for his family on his own. I guess he forgot he doesn’t have a steady job and still lives in father in law’s rental property. This had to be one of the funniest scenes of the episode. I still don’t understand how someone wants his in-laws to be removed from his business but continues to take handouts from them.

Paola (Columbia) & Russ (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma)
Paola Mayfield and Russ Mayfield are on their way to Oklahoma for their baby shower. She is feeling nervous and apprehensive about seeing her in-laws again. Paola never felt they truly accepted her into their family. It’s clear she doesn’t quite understand what the word conservative means. Russ’s religious and conservative family wasn’t keen on having a daughter-in-law who did racy modeling shoots and pranced around their house in a nightie. Hell, her husband wasn’t even accepting of that. I can’t wait to see how this baby shower goes. There definitely won’t be anything there that Paola may consider fun.

Jay (Jamaica) & Ashley (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania)
Jay Smith is still being held captive in his home with his scorned wife. His only “friends” are the guys at the barbershop who cut his hair. Sigh! After telling everyone about his troubles, even the barbers aren’t buying his story about looking for friends on a dating app. Ashley Martson refuses to apply for his green card after Tinder Gate. But if he has nothing to do all day, what does she expect, but for him to cheat.
Jay tries to win Ashley over with her favorite dinner: Chinese food and a single candle. He asks her about the plan for obtaining his green card, so that he can work. She makes it crystal clear she doesn’t want to be responsible for her husband if they break up. Stringing him along is torture. Either break up or forgive him. Making this man sit cooped up in the house with no ability to work, go to school, or make money would drive anyone crazy. At this point, I just want Jay to go back to Jamaica so he can be free.
