Real Housewives of New Jersey husband, Joe Gorga has certainly been stepping up to the plate with speaking out for his family. Recently, he addressed his sister, Teresa Giudice’s plans to separate from her husband if he was deported.
Well, Joe is now speaking out in defense of his brother-in-law Joe Giudice. He has been released from prison after serving his sentence. He is now in ICE custody pending his deportation appeal.
According to an article in Page Six, Joe explained that his brother-in-law is doing well but is not happy. Joe Gorga declared, “he just wants to be home with his kids, his family.”
Joe Gorga has strong feelings about Joe Giudice’s current situation. He feels that his brother-in-law did his time. And that should be the end of it. He said, “He’s got four little girls here. He married an American citizen. It’s not like he murdered or raped anybody. I mean, leave this guy alone, you know.”
Meanwhile, Us Weekly, Joe Gorga told them his sister, Teresa, is a mess but is putting on a brave face for her children. “She has to raise her children by herself, so she has to be strong,” he explained.

Joe also explained that since her kids are busy with their own lives, when Teresa is home “she has no one to hold. No one’s around” which is why “she’s got to keep herself busy.”
I guess that is how she ended up having to defend herself against rumors she was dating a guy in his 20’s. They weren’t “dating” you guys. They were just holding hands cause she needed someone to help her to her car. <side eye>
What happens if Joe Giudice is deported to Italy? “That will be their vacation,” Joe Gorga said, “I’m sure of that.”
I’m sure everyone in the family is anxiously waiting to see what happens with Joe Giudice’s appeal. If he wins his appeal it will be interesting to see how a newly independent Teresa will handle having him back in her life. Either way, RHONJ will definitely get a boost in ratings. If nothing else, Teresa will have that to look forward to.
