Mike-Sorrentino-The-Situation

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino Receives Thousands of Letters in Jail

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has had an eventful couple of years. In April 2017, the star was charged with falsifying records and tax evasion. This stemmed from his failure to pay income taxes on 8.9 million in earnings between 2010 to 2012.

Getting into tax trouble is a mistake that several reality stars make. Case in pointReal Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Giudice and his wife Teresa Giudice. What is going on in New Jersey?

In October, Mike was sentenced to an 8-month prison term. This. included two years of supervised release. Thankfully, he was supported by Jersey Shore cast members at his sentencing. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Nicole Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino, DJ Pauly D, Jenni “JWoww” Farley were in the courtroom that day. Of course, Mike’s wife, Lauren Pesce, was also at her man’s side.

In November, Page Six reported that Lauren and Mike wed at a lavish ceremony at The Legacy Castle in New Jersey. Once again, many of Mike’s co-stars were on hand to celebrate the special occasion. I wonder if they had funfetti cake? Snooki and JWoww’s daughters served as flower girls in the ceremony. No doubt they are already learning to “beat the beat” like their parents. Maybe we can get a “Jersey Shore: The Next Generation” in a few years. That could be scary interesting!
