Is there ever any upbeat or positive news that comes out from those folks on The Real Housewives of New Jersey? It certainly doesn’t seem like it!
As reported last week, Joe Guidice is facing potential jail time due to all his shady dealings regarding his counterfeit driver’s license. The prosecutor isn’t likely to come to a plea agreement that doesn’t include some time served, and Joe’s attorney warns that all the talk of the incidents on the show are tainting the potential jury pool.
If Joe does go to jail, one can only wonder WWTD? Teresa Guidice already has a strained relationship with brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa (to say the least), but jail time for hubby could only add to the gossip and hatefulness that is bringing down the show. Also up against Teresa is Manzo matriarch Caroline, who recently said, “I hold Teresa responsible for a lot of relationships in my life that are hurting. Of course I fight with my brothers and sisters…the difference is, she puts the wood on my family’s fire. I put the lid on hers.”

Caroline, it seems, is cryptically referring to her rift with sister and former housewife Dina Manzo, who is still good friends with Teresa (at least for publicity’s sake). Last weekend, Dina dismissed any of Caroline’s accusations against Teresa for fueling the flames as totally false.
Caroline may have more to worry about, as over at A2S.com rumors abound about her cubs…well one in particular. The site does its best to stir up gay rumors about Albie Manzo and roommate (and constant Manzo sidekick) Greg Bennett.
The site also claims that Dina was hoping to feature her brother’s gay wedding on her own HGTV show, but Caroline offered it up to Andy Cohen. Her brother, knowing that Bravo was a much bigger venue, took Andy’s offer. Perhaps Teresa doesn’t have anything to do with Dina’s anger towards Caroline!
It also looks like bad news for former bad housewife Danielle Staub. Aww, she’s just misunderstood. NorthJersey.com is reporting that Danielle has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, naming 35 creditors in the suit. The site states, “The bankruptcy petition, filed in United States Bankruptcy Court in Newark on May 30, estimates Staub’s assets to be between $500,001 and $1 million – the same estimate given for her liabilities.” That’s never a good thing!
