Craig Conover & Naomie Olindo Don’t Regret Sharing Relationship Issues On Southern Charm; Unsure If Cameran Eubanks Will Return After Baby Is Born

Aside from getting hate for (not) taking he bar exam, Craig Conover has also received a lot of flack for his relationship with Naomie Olindo. They even admitted to rough patch during the Southern Charm reunion, but they seem to be in a much better place these days.

Craig and Naomie discussed Landon Clements’ questionable tears over Kathryn Dennis at the reunion, Cameran Eubanks’ future on the show after she has her baby, and whether or not they regret arguing in front of the reality TV cameras.

In a recent interview on (my favorite) morning show The Morning Breath, Craig and Naomie were asked if it was awkward hanging with the cast after the reunion was filmed. Craig revealed, “It happened again this year that we left at the end of the day closer than we were when we walked in the building. I think everyone basically beats each other down so much that things get resolved in a weird way. The last two years Kathryn and Landon have gone out with us together and partied together and taken pictures together. Obviously they go back to hating each other the next day, but it’s like our one day.”

Of course, they were asked about Landon’s tears and whether or not they were genuine. Craig said, “Landon cries a lot, but it was genuine though. They weren’t fake tears. She feels horrible for it and then she remembers again that she thinks [Kathryn] did to herself and she does it again. She stops feeling sad about the situation and remember everything and snap out of it really quick.”

Even though Cameran rarely has a story line on Southern Charm, she is the narrator and voice of reason on this show, so it will be interesting to see how involved she is (if at all) once her baby is born- especially since her husband has never even appeared on the show. When asked if she will stick around, Naomie confessed, “I say no and Craig says yes.” Craig continued, “I think she will film until November and then she’ll be done. The baby is due in November.” Then Naomie made a valid point: “I don’t think she wants her baby to start out its life on reality TV.” I totally respect that. Plus in all honesty Cameran is too nice and doesn’t add any drama to this show, so it’s fine with me if she goes on hiatus.

Of course, Craig and Naomie had to discuss their relationship. They were asked if they “ever regret saying too much or showing too much.” Naomie admitted, “I’ve thought about this a lot. I wish I hadn’t been such a bitch to Craig and I wish I had controlled what I said on the show because I looked like such a buzz kill. But also I don’t because so many people see couples on Instagram that only show the best side of their relationship and it makes other people feel like shit.” Good point, girl.

Naomie also said, “I can’t tell you how many messages I get ‘Thank you I’m going through the same thing.'” Craig added, “I think we would have to deal with these problems in seven years if we didn’t do it now, so at least it got fast forwarded.”
