Poor Caroline Manzo! If you follow the Manzo’d with Children star on social media, you know that she posted a ton of photos of her foot injury, but there’s a lot more to the story.
Caroline’s foot injury actually ended up having a lot of residual effects on her body. She took the time to rest her foot and that took a major toll on her body. Now that Caroline is finally okay to move around, she is taking matters into her own hands.

Unfortunately, Caroline was not able to be active for six months while she was recovering from her foot injury. She gained thirty pounds and now that her foot is almost better, Caroline is ready to be fit again.
Caroline posted the photo above on Instagram of her in the gym with her trainer. She also wrote a caption about how determined she is to overcome the weight gain and other impediments from the foot injury, “I’ve gained nearly 30 pounds in the last 6 months due to my foot injury. Foot is almost healed, and now I have to take care of me. This is the guy that’s going to make it happen – I’m on day #2 with the help of @rodrickcovington. As Roderick says ‘it’s the first day of the rest of your life’. I’m all in, let the journey begin.”

Caroline also put up another post with a photo of her pool and the caption read, “Just swam 40 laps – I’m ready for the Olympics. #carolinekicksherownass #30lbgottago.” Good for Caroline. Get it.
It is nice to see Caroline being so open and honest about her fitness journey. Most people shy away from the spotlight while in the middle of a fitness phase and just post their final result. But it looks like Caroline is planning to share this whole journey with us from the beginning.
We have all seen Caroline pull off a weight transformation before, so I’m sure that she can do it again.
