Y’all can all rest easy…Scott Disick is fine. He’s not partying too much since his split from Kourtney Kardashian. He hasn’t fallen off the wagon after multiple rehab stints. He’s just living his life the only way Lord Disick knows how…royally.
The former Keeping up with the Kardashians (along with several spin-offs) star is sick and tired of being unfairly portrayed in the media. Sure, Scott admits to some really dark times in the past, but that’s all behind him. He’s just trying to have fun–in a very low-key and normal thirty-two-year-old single guy way. Just get off his back already, mmmmkay? Clearly I’ve missed all the reports of Scott’s recent debauchery and playboy shenanigans because I was pretty surprised to hear him speaking out against them. I guess losing Kris Jenner as a promotional mouthpiece–whether positive or negative–has affected the poor chap. Now he’s forced to do his own interviews to clear his name. Hard times, for sure.

After finding himself negatively depicted in the tabloids, Scott is speaking out about allegations that he’s back boozing, pill-popping, and womanizing. Of course, where else would he go but to People? In an exclusive interview with the magazine, the doucheLord admits, “The only thing I find unfortunate is that I’m seeing a ton of press saying ‘Scott’s off the wagon and he’s this and he’s that and he’s all these things. The truth is I never lied and said that I was never going to have a beer again. I never said I was never going to have a cigarette again. I never lied and said I was never going to go to the beach again. I never lied and said I was not going to be around my friends and their girlfriends and girls and friends.”
After a much discussed whirlwind trip to Mexico, Scott is debunking allegations that he’s on a “crazy mission of destruction,” telling the site that while he was enjoying time with several male friends and their girlfriends, the media only seemed to release photos of him surrounded by a harem of ladies.
Discussing his trip, Scott shares, “I was down there hanging out like any other single 32-year-old guy would be,” adding, “The truth is I just to live my life and I want to have a little happiness and a little balance. The truth is rehab did help me and now I’m just trying to be responsible. I’m not out here trying to get wasted, but you know what, I will have a beer on the beach. I’m not doing drugs, I’m not doing anything insane, so I think people just need to relax … I just want to try to live my life.”
Scott continues, “I’m not sure I can stay home every single night at 32 years old and be sane. In the end, I’m trying to live my life. I’m trying to live it healthy. I’m trying to be there for the people I love, which is Kourtney and kids, but you know what, we’re not together. I’m single and I’m trying to keep my mind off of things … At the end of the day I think people just need to understand that I have never lied about anything about myself. I am who I am. I do what I do, and enough is enough.”
When questioned about his ability to drink responsibly after getting out of rehab, Scott asserts, “I’m totally fine. I mean, I went in [to rehab] for a lot of different reasons. My biggest thing was that I was very addicted to sleeping medication, and now, it’s fine. I drink responsibly. I have a couple drinks with my friends when I’m out just like anyone else. At the end of the day I just want to fit in and I just want to be treated like anybody else and I don’t want to be beat up every day.”
So there you have it, folks. Scott is fine. You may even catch him on Dancing with the Stars! He just wants to be left alone so he can hang out with his buddies without feeling judged.
